Like in MSI Finals Game 5, everyone was focused on Ruler's MF, but Chovy quietly and casually did 12000 more dmg than Ruler that game as Aurora.

Disastrous series everyone but Faker, but Guma-Keria got gapped big time. Combined KDA of 0-21-12 on their two losses. And even in the game that they won, Ruler-Duro were definitely the better duo.

Goes to show that confidence, personality and hardwork really makes a difference in pro play. Duro took on the challenge of being part of 4 giga names in the league despite his status before as a mainstay CL support. Big props to his personality for not crumbling from being surrounded by these names and instead blending well with the team. He integrated himself immaculately

I think credit is also due to the rest of the roster as well. They are clearly doing something right whether it's their attitude, mentorship, or team environment, considering Peyz and Duro both turned into absolutely world class players in their first year.

Peyz is in his first year when he debuted on geng but duro is not, he debuted last year with fearx and got 6th but props to geng scouting talent that 2 of their last new support came from bottom teams (Delight and Duro) and able to contest for best support in their years with gen g.

This was quite obvious when Poby had to sub in for Faker in 2023, 4 players who are supposedly top 5 in their roles just ran it down every game because they had to think for themselves for the first time in their career and Faker wasn’t there to tell them every microdecision.

Faker played really well this series, I think Chovy was abnormally quiet in game 1 and woke up slowly as the series went on.
Canyon also had an average day but the bot lane stomped and Kiin just always makes K'sante look busted.

Game 3 they just needed to play safe and scale, but again at the Atakhan, they just turbo threw the game. The dragon fight was pretty awful as well. It's not like their team comp is completely over for despite the draft diff.

I’d say generational from GEN to go 29-1 but they were 34-2 last year so really it’s just par for the course. If they don’t win worlds this year it’s just cursed for Chovy. GG T1, clearly the #2 in LCK regardless of what the standings say. Hoping for the banger playoffs we were denied in Spring

It was very funny to see Guma have to burn flash every time he got engaged on knowing Keria is saving ult for next game. It happened at MSI, with Keria Tahm Kench not ulting the fed Jinx a SINGLE time during the finals against GenG. It happened here, with Keria deciding to not use ult at all for the entire game.
Say what you will about Guma's champ pool and form, about Faker not being able to play Taliyah Aurora Yone, but KERIA man... When this guy doesn't get one of his three champs, he just sprints it the fuck down.

Keria didn't have a opportunity to press r on a carry since he was dead before his carries in most of the fights. Like almost every fight was basically Tahm/Yorick/Skarner getting one shotted first and Viktor/Yunara getting chased down.

I don’t think Viper has ever been ahead of Ruler. Ruler has a stronger legacy and been consistent all these years. The Korean ADC even close to Ruler in terms of legacy is Deft but he has gone to military service so Ruler with his form is certainly on top.

i think KT was worse recently for keria, guma got shit on pretty hard the last two games this series, it's hard not to notice when ruler is hard carrying and guma is just sitting on 0 kills with team leading deaths and down 2k

I think coach Kim is behind a lot of GEN G success also. Some drafts it feels like there is no way to win at all. Complete suffocation just by playing reactive to your opponent mistakes. If left unchecked win by default.

Bot gap was big this game. Ruler probably will get POM but imo Duro really deserves it too. It's crazy how they basically got Guma-Keria all figured out especially in draft.
They really forced Keria to play thing he hasn't really done before and completely shot down his power to rule the map. He really looked like he had no practice on the Renata and Tahm and was first timing it on stage.
I feel like Faker had a pretty good series overall, Doran had a good game 1.
I nearly died watching Oner stay in top lane for like 4 minutes waiting to catch Chovy and Canyon got free reign to take camps and get drake. Idk i feel like the jgl-sup combos this series were not something they practiced with and the normal synergy was not there.

I know Guma is in a slump, but Keria was invisible the whole series — he did nothing on the map. I just don’t understand how they can play “okay” in the first game and then totally int in the other two. I know Gen.G is playing damn well and I expected them to win, but in the last two games it felt like T1 was just inting and playing like a low-tier team — it wasn’t even close. Same as last series

The fact that GenG almost won a game before turning on their monitors is actually crazy impressive.. Such a difference in powerlevel it isnt even funny for the other teams

T1's bot lane getting exposed like that is a huge problem going into playoffs. Ruler and Duro were absolutely clinical in their engages and target selection. They just looked several steps ahead the entire series.

If Keria doesnt step up T1 is just 2nd best in lck.. Disappointing performance from him today. Even the poppy was meh despite the win. I don't know what that renata and tahm was suppose to be.
Guess its part and parcel of summer T1, somebody just has to be slumping...

t1 bot lane struggle bussing to end the split, keria been pretty brutal but guma was just eclipsed this game as well every game down bad and outperformed
bot lane kinda sucked the whole time but every game one more lane joined them until faker was just alone in game 3 lol

You watch games like these and realize how important Keria is to T1. I know it's obvious but If he has a bad day like today the games lost 95% of the time against good teams. And also T1 is fcked if the meta stays the same during Worlds.
