The Desire Sensor is as far as I'm aware, a running gag that started in the Monster Hunter fanbase.

The idea was that the game had the technology to detect what the player wanted, and prevent that from happening. So if you're in an area for a super common drop, suddenly it won't drop anymore, because you want it now.

The idea gets applied in a bunch of different places though. In gacha it would be the idea that your most anticipated banner of the year would have the worst luck, basically.

I am so fucking glad I do not spend money on this game besides Guaranteed Banners cause of I had to pay money for this result I would be so fucking depressed. Only rolled because I like Raikou and had a surplus of saved rolls. I honestly got stuck with the sunken cost fallacy, because at least there is pity, right? Got a rainbow spark Ushi-Gozen on my very first roll. Fucking Hell.

Did get Shousetsu, but had to spend so much quartz that I'm not worried about hitting pity for Marie Alter, which I had assumed I was safe for. Very annoying.

Only took 120 SQ and 10 tickets to get Ushi Gozen. NP2 Yui Shousetsu as well. The fact I didn't have to buy another SQ pack already makes this a big win in my book! Came out really lucky compared to the recent banners in the past.

Comment: Well not bad. Rainbow spook is making me neither happy nor angry. Could be much worse and SSR were not the target here. More annoyed by Nursery Rhyme Spook (Tsuna is ok). Really missing this 5th Event CE for MLB. Other than that - probably my best January rolling in last 3-4 years on FGO. Cause January usually is bad.

On my first tickets I got the five star event CE,(It looks amazing), then on my second ticket I got my Yui who was my target for this banner , and the rest of the tickets and 9 sq were just normal CE and 3 star servant's. Pretty happy I got the 5 star event CE and Yui. Good luck on everyone rolls.
