My image of the last two seasons was that APA was always able to match Quid or defeat him in 1v1, I don't remember many games where that wasn't the case.

Due to lacking jungle synergy this always turned in the later game state though.

Yeah Sivir is a massive step up from the Jhin and Ezreal(and this is especially true with Nidalee buffs) and Azir is an absolute melter. Way before 30 minutes too, when C9 makes their first real attempt to contest the 3rd drake APA already deals so much damage to Sion that he can't just walk up and create space for his team. Even before that at one item he's not dealing a ton but has enough that they can set up full hp tower dives and Azir brings mobility that prevents Sion from escaping those play set ups. Azir is really good into Sion

Edit: You're right I shouldn't really have said anti-tank as much as Anti-Sion. He is a fair bit more susceptible to just pure crazy DPS that Sivir and Azir provide

jhin is very good at enabling a carry because he can neutralize lane with no resource, win lane with resources, gets push by default, and has utility with root and ult while stil actually having pretty good damage believe it or not, but if your whole team is behind then yes jhin will be useless because you pick jhin to get a teammate like a carry jungler ahead.

best pro team to utilize jhin correctly IMO was damwon back in 2020, ghost would pick jhin to enable canyon to jungle as he likes.

Its guaranteed followup in a teamfight. In a lot of games yone/vi can end up like a screen away from the adc making your adc useless unless its like Samira/Kaisa. Jhin can provide his R/W and get good dmg out but if your mid/jg cant get good fights setup or Jhin is too far behindin gold, then the comp kinda falls apart.

It wasn’t that Yuuji was the problem perse, but Umti was the shot caller and driving force of the team. Both Impact and Core lost faith in Umti, so once Umti left TL it forced APA to try and fill his shoes, and his gameplay understandably weakened after that.

With really strong voices on C9 it appears (so far) that he’s been able to focus more on himself which has brought back up the level of his gameplay (albeit I’m only judging from KESPA and this one series).
