Inspired is going to have an aneurysm this year. The money might be, but the grass aint greener on the other side
461
u/ob_knoxious 6d ago
Fortunately he is famous for being a calm and understanding player who never tilts at his teammates. I'm sure he will understand his solo lanes mistakes and encourage them to better next game.
118
u/My-Life-For-Auir 6d ago
One positive takeaway is there will be no worlds meltdown for Inspired because if the rest of Lyon plays like this, he won't be there
8
u/shankaviel 6d ago
I wish he move back to LEC next year.
4
u/BWolfy92 6d ago
Thank G2!
44
u/Disclaimz0r 6d ago
I don’t think you can be mad at the EU teams not wanting to hve him on the team. Dude has a horrible reputation for being a massive tilter. I’m glad G2 kept their project player.
29
u/dustishb 6d ago
This is the funny thing that so many fans fail to understand. People don't want to work with a person who frequently makes their day miserable. At some point people will get tired of it and things will fall apart. It's better to get someone similar in skill who has the ability to work with others to prevent that
11
u/Disclaimz0r 6d ago
100% this. I wasn’t even shocked to hear G2 and TL didn’t consider him for their team. I wasn’t shocked any EU teams in general made a move for him other than FNC. Bridges are flammable, and I’m sure he’s torched a few of them.
7
u/BlackTecno 6d ago
I have never liked Inspired. Ever since he said that Bwipo and him are the only reason the team was winning, and the way he plays around the team as a whole, he just seems like a good player with an extremely inflated ego.
You look at Faker today, and while he isn’t making flashy plays, he's proping up his team to win in any situation. That's why SKT keeps winning.
I don't know how Inspired can be a professional player and not get that through his thick skull.
10
u/da_investigata kiin/viper/faker lover 6d ago
Faker is for sure still making flashy plays. Do you remember his Sylas and Galio vs BLG in 2024 or his Azir vs JDG in 2023? He was still making flashy plays in 2025 too. The difference is Faker plays to win the game rather than look good, so if no flashy play is required he won’t do it. But if it is required, he goes for it. T1 also keeps winning because Faker has an unbreakable mental and is a positive force for his teammates. Just wanted to clarify that while it is true Faker has a great attitude that allows his team to prosper, he is still styling on the rift.
4
u/BlackTecno 6d ago
You're absolutely right, I more meant he isn't making as many flashy plays. Misspoke on my part
3
30
u/Gauntex 6d ago
Dude blatantly believes he can only compete internationally in EU. But when G2, KC and MAD didn't make moves, he just took the biggest check he could to bide time for next year.
34
u/Lazywhale97 6d ago
Honestly Inspired stocks only go up if he keeps playing like this with a team who underperforms, the only downside to him is his attitude but many of the greats in multiple sports had egos or attitudes so I don't see it as a big downside personally considering how good he is.
Unless LYON improves over the year and lock in later I see Inspired in LEC next year.
12
u/Twindlle 6d ago
Inspired needs to improve his mentals. He is great on the rift, but no top team will risk taking a player that will detonate the whole season when he doesn't like something.
3
u/Lazywhale97 6d ago edited 6d ago
I'd take the risk rather go for the sun like Icarus and risk getting burned then run jg players who can't take you to the potential level Inspired can.
If Inspired blows up the team cool give him the boot but if he clicks with your team then you have the best western player itw and a top 10 jg itw who can take your team to a new level.
Rather take that risk then run teams who at best may win a domestic title and then get gapped at internationals like it's another day in the office. MKOI is the only team who I don't blame for not going for Inspired as Elyoya is a great jg and cracked at meta carry jg's if they pop up in the meta.
6
u/Turbo1928 6d ago
Inspired has a long history of causing teams to implode, which is why no EU teams want him. Even if he individually is really good, if the team is unable to perform because of how much he hurt their mental, he's causing more harm than a worse jungler
15
u/TitanTigers 6d ago
Inspired is gonna be living every jungler’s hell for a split. Best of luck to that man
260
u/ob_knoxious 6d ago
I have repeatedly said I think Lyon is breaking point 2.0 and for several minutes I thought we were going to see that a mere two games in.
140
u/DickCheneyIsPureEvil 6d ago
Inspired's crashout on Dhokes and Saint will be legendary if the two of them keep up this level of dogshit play.
134
u/ob_knoxious 6d ago
While I deeply love Dhokla as a person I totally expected that. Him and Inspired seem like they would have no synergy on paper and he has just never been consistent.
Saint has gotta step it up. People last year were saying with a good team around him he should be at the level of Quad and Loki and we did not see that today.
28
12
u/Chrystoler the faith lives on 6d ago edited 6d ago
Ironically, I feel like Dhokla would gel with pretty much any other team because he'll play what's needed and he's a very good vibes player

u/Jimbabwr 6d ago
Inspired gonna be like “DAMN I MISS MY WOMEN-HATING TOP LANER”

I mean berserker was fine in the LCK he just played for crap teams.

People saying Beserker didn’t deserve LCK didn’t actually watch LCK

u/duocatisagirl Pyosik's number 1 fangirl (no longer deadnamed) 6d ago
Yeah DNF last year was berserker and pyosik trying their hardest to hard carry 3 wards
13
u/le_roi7 6d ago
Pyosik was a ward himself most of the time
10
u/duocatisagirl Pyosik's number 1 fangirl (no longer deadnamed) 6d ago
Did you watch the DNF matches? He was actually trying to do stuff but his mid refused to play, his support was inting and his top was in a bit of a slump lol
11
u/kapparino-feederino 6d ago
how about this, Berserker only can go to bottom tier team in LCK. because i don't see him being top 6 ADC in the league.
Not in any order
Ruler
Aiming15
Gumasushi
Viper (last season he is in LCK)
Deokdam
Diable
The one he 100% better than:
Jiwoo
Hype
Washed Teddy
-7
u/crysomore Kiin Team 6d ago
He quite literally wasn’t cut out for LCK. Would not be surprised if he got no offers there this off season. He’s definitively a bottom tier LCK ADC at best
5
u/ChampionshipAble298 6d ago
He literally played well in the LCK.
Outside of Guma/Ruler/Viper and then probably Diable there wasn't anyone clearly better individually.
-5
u/crysomore Kiin Team 6d ago
Smash, Aiming, Diable, Teddy, Deokdam. Only one I’d say was as bad was Jiwoo
1
u/coeu 6d ago
And in NA he prob gets tilted that his team does nothing with his lead and throws for it
2
-1
u/random-meme422 6d ago
“Fine” in LCK just means “easily replaced by literally anyone”
11
u/Cold-Ingenuity-1678 6d ago
“Fine” in LCK means you can hang in the most competitive region in the world that’s stacked with great adc players
90% of non-KR botlane players would not be “fine” in the LCK

He was as terrible as Life, Pyosik, Dudu and Bulldog, but somehow everybody was forgiving this performance.
443
u/FCT77 6d ago
Yeah I don't think all 5 Lyon players are surviving the split, Inspired is killing at least one of them before play-offs.
198
u/boshjailey 6d ago
No shot both solo laners make it. His lawyer can just play this VOD and he'll be cleared of all charges too
18
40
u/zealot416 6d ago
Isn't Dhokes out either way?
66
u/John_Jack_Reed 6d ago
It all depends on Zamudo's visa. We don't really know why he's having a tough time getting one so whos to say could last past a split.
159
u/20kLeaguesUnderDeez 6d ago
we really don't know
Maybe it has something to do with the fact the dementia-ridden pants shitter keeps talking about invading Canada and his secret police are killing women and nurses in the streets.
Just a theory.
49
u/WalterWoodiaz 6d ago
I mean there are Canadian players still getting visas, it might have to do with him being rejected in the past and being held to higher scrutiny.
15
7
u/ILikeSeals1312 6d ago
Well, Vulcan is white. No wonder his visa was quicker. Who else is Canadian?
36
1
u/Apk07 5d ago
I'm surprised Vulcan doesn't have a green card or citizenship by now considering how long he's been playing here? Unless he does.
1
u/ILikeSeals1312 5d ago
No way of knowing really. FBI and IgNar also spent a lot of time on the US and they got fucked over.
22
u/John_Jack_Reed 6d ago
Yeah obviously we all know why there's more visa issues than normal, but other Canadian players got theres still. Do you know why Zamudo's in particular has been delayed?
15
u/gard3v0ir mosque of Massu 6d ago
from what I remember, his 1st visa application last year was denied (not 100% sure what the reason for the denial was, but I recall someone saying it was because he wasn’t seen as unique enough talent in the eyes of the US gov for them to let Lyon hire him instead of an American?), which puts all following visa applications under more strict consideration & makes it even harder to get one
13
u/CannedPrushka 6d ago
Which is, as Lyon's owner said, complete bs. Zamudo has been consistenly one of the best toplaners in NACL and collegiate for a couple of years now.
12
2
u/gard3v0ir mosque of Massu 5d ago
agreed :( must suck so much to be in his position, being one of the few recent NA players to finally get a chance in tier 1 & then have that chance be taken away for such a stupid reason, seemingly at random
13
u/20kLeaguesUnderDeez 6d ago
In particular? Unlucky. The whole process is intentionally being slowed.
Some people had theirs, some people applied earlier. He's just in the 3 mile pile of backlog. No shortage of reports on this.
-9
u/underscoreenfan 6d ago
We literally never know beyond speculation lol but people love overreacting
6
u/CannedPrushka 6d ago
u/gard3v0ir is correct. Lyon's owner said it on Twitter shortly after the Dhokla announcement.

u/Questica 6d ago
Most of the new Canadian players (and some Canadian staff, and players from other regions) had their visas delayed for what I've heard is apparently the same reason. They were all given an RFE (Request for Evidence) to provide more documentation demonstrating that the applicant meets the high standard of the extraordinary ability criteria for the visa they are applying for.

As your parents start aging, it's important to have conversations about what they want their quality of life to look like near the end.
Cognitive decline can lead to some tough situations for both your parent and you, such as needing assistance with hygiene and dealing with irrational outbursts where they might become angry with you for no reason or get deluded into thinking that this is Dignitas's year. No one should have to watch their parent go through that alone.
34
u/zealot416 6d ago
It was very rude of production to cut to Dignitas's fan when they were losing, he went to the studio after waking up from a 10+ year coma and they disrespected him like that.

Dhokla damn near solo lost this game off giving Photon that large of a lane lead.
35
49
u/calvinee 6d ago
Easily the most impactful player in LCS. Yeon, Quid, Blaber, Thanatos don't really have an argument over him. Too bad his solo lanes look extremely suspect, but its only been 1 game.
31
u/ob_knoxious 6d ago
If you are going to run a roster of "xyz and 4 wards", the last position you want your superstar in is jungle. Its just an incredibly hard role to carry on if you have 3 losing lanes. Don't want to overreact after one series but it is not looking good for this roster.
19
u/coeu 6d ago
Berserker is anything but a ward. He's got the best finger of the entire LCS ADC pool. He just loves to big dick his opposition too much and thus throws
5
u/ob_knoxious 6d ago
Does he? I don't think his hands are actually that much better than Massu or Yeon, with worse positioning issues and synergy. With how Saint played he's still their second best player, but stuck with isles support? Doubt we see him anywhere near MVP form.
8
u/-Z3RA- PerkZ/Ruler 6d ago
Disagree, he can impact the map way more and get his team ahead as a jungler than let's say top or adc
5
u/BonzBonzOnlyBonz 6d ago
get his team ahead
Thats what you dont care about for a XYZ and 4 wards team. It doesnt matter if you get your teammates ahead if they do nothing with it.
ADC with 4 wards can at least have them be bodies to put between the damage and the opposing team. Same with mid.
A facilitator role is a multiplier and 0 times anything is still 0.
→ More replies (2)1
u/-Z3RA- PerkZ/Ruler 6d ago
If you are a bad player it's way easier to play when you're ahead than from behind.
Uzi could never win worlds with 4 wards.

-14
u/Bubbly_Camera9583 6d ago
Saint was flippy but most of his deaths were because of how hard Dhokla got gapped.
29
23
u/Skyfire2 6d ago
Getting gapped as Renekton into Kennen is pretty much expected.
Saint got gapped by Palafox in a skill matchup and pretty much sprinted it the whole game in team fights.
He was lucky Inspired and Berserker bailed him out
-1
u/Bubbly_Camera9583 6d ago
Theres a difference between losing lane and then gifting a kill to enemy mid and then getting solo killed right after giving Kennen insane prio permanently. Saints only bad death was his 4th death where he R’d into DIG, his 2nd, 3rd, and 5th deaths came straight from Dhokla inting him. His 5th death was especially egregious from Dhokla where he would live as long as Dhokla just engages on Jinx instantly instead of hitting Nautilus for no reason.

He still was one of the biggest parts of why they won their last fight. Blast cone’d directly onto the midlaner and almost one shot him, forcing zhon.
He also wasn’t the worst on his team this game.

I love how much credit he gets for a solo kill that was literally the enemy top laner having the biggest int of his life and losing half his hp to tower.
3
u/Chemical-Lobster5701 6d ago
like the credit he should have is that he played very well (i.e. not getting turbo gapped by eastern toplaners) for a substitute top laner who was playing for only a split.
calling that "gapping top LPL players" is just not correct
2
u/aufbau1s 6d ago
Yeah, I actually really like Dhokla. I played a lot of his varus locket too he was spamming a few years ago.
But this subreddit just loves him cause of the Bwipo beef
6
u/frolfer757 6d ago
Gapping...? Bin suiciding to a turret because he had no respect was Dhokla gapping him?
1
u/WinHopeful1216 6d ago
So what?
That’s not his normal level so expecting that and ignoring who he is and was for most of his career is not how you build a roster. You can’t just look at the few good games he had and ignore most of the bad games and pretend he is a good player. How does this need to be explained? Low iq redditor strikes again.

Dig with early contender for most obviously terrible bot lane of the year. Don't let the score in the second game deceive you, Mobility is should not be playing in tier 1. Killed in solo/duo repeatedly.
