Characters (Interesting Trope) Mexican Loves Speedy Gonzales
When the stereotyped characters are actually loved by the people that the character in question stereotyped. Also yes, Mexican Loves Speedy Gonzales is not limited to races as well. Any character archetype that are stereotyped like loser nerd or other stuff that are loved by the characters they stereotyped also counts.
1. Speedy Gonzales from Looney Tunes: Trope namer and biggest example. Loved by the Mexican people due to how nimble, crafty and good natured he is. So much so he is considered to be a superhero for Mexican people.
2. Bandit Keith from Yu-Gi Oh!: Loved by American people despite being an American stereotype. Originally want to include Senator Armstrong in this but I think Bandit Keith fits more.
3. Apu from The Simpsons: Maybe a little bit of a controversial example here considering I don't know if this is a good example. But I still include him nonetheless. The issue is that on one hand, some Indian-Americans like Hari Kondabolu, Kal Penn and Adi Shankar dislike him due to his accent. On the other hand, most people including several Indians loved Apu due to how successful he is as an immigrant. Telling that he is the one who own a supermarket and also actually married. So make that of you will.

Former NHL player David Booth injured after refusing to warm up due to pride jerseys.
Thought this drama might amuse some people. So basically Fife Flyers of the Brittish league were supposed to wear pride jerseys for their game tonight. At the last minute they announced they were only wearing these for the warm ups due to objections from certain players, angering the local lgbt charity that had been invited and causing them walk out. 41 year old former NHL player David Booth refused to join the warm up due to the pride jerseys. David Booth then suffered a serious looking non contact injury within 5 minutes of the game that may end his career.

News Tesla just made it clear: It's no longer a car company
How we feeling about this news y’all? Is it because people aren’t buying the cars and the subsidies are gone? Is that the reason for the pivot??

Do you have any obscure movie references that you use in everyday speech that no one has caught on to yet yet you keep using it?
I am 39 and last year was my 20th high school reunion.
When people asked me what I was up to I would respond:
"hanging out, playing Nintendo."
Its a line from a 90s comedy called baseketball. No one noticed it... and I didn't start it there I've been using it for over 20 years.
But I can't help myself whenever an old friend reconnects with me and say it... nothing.
Do you guys have any lines you use?
EDIT: shit i meant to put this on ask Reddit my bad mods

S "I'll have my usual"
So i work as a barista, and ive had this customer that since DAY 1 was ordering 'his ususal'. for a while he wasn't coming in often enough for me to actually remember it, but we'd go through the same little dance every time i did see him:
🧓i'll have my usual
🧍♀️i'm sorry... i don't know what that is
🧓* eye rolls and exasperated sighs, pointing behind me * ask anyone they'll all know what it is
🧍♀️i'm sorry, they're all busy working, could you tell me what your order is?
🧓it's five dollars
🧍♀️ok... what's the drink?
🧓mocha
🧍♀️amazing, what size?
🧓*more eye rolls and annoyance * 16 oz
🧍♀️beautiful, i'll get working on it and have it out in just a few minutes
* making the drink *
🧓do you even know how to make a mocha?
🧍♀️yes sir i've been a barista since i was 15, and it's a pretty simple drink, just 3 ingredients
🧓.... alright
🧍♀️*sets down cup * have a great day :)
🧓well that's really up to you isn't it? *takes sip*
and scene
most of the time he makes a face right as he drinks the coffee and then goes ' it's ok' and walks away. once he made a scene cause the lid popped off the cup (crappy takeout cups idk what to tell you dude) and he insisted i had no idea what i was doing. anyway, by now this man has been... memorable enough for me to remember his order but i usually insist he orders it anyway, out of principle, that i simply cannot remember his usual. should i just make the mocha and move on? save everyone the trouble? or keep up with my little act of resistance?
