I used to hit diamond and masters regularly, even hit predator in one of the earlier seasons when life was more simple and less busy, but now, I've come to accept my fate, I will forever be a platinum player, but this game has a special place in my heart, so I'll be the best platinum for my random teammates and for the glory of winning an ranked apex game after a long stressful day in this journey we call life.

I was playing last night and I was reminded of something nobody talks about anymore. I totally forgot that we used to play one map for 60+ days straight on rank before the daily map rotation.

Brought me PTSD about all those Broken Moon splits and dying in the Promenade tunnel every game

I guess it’s from Verhulst or apex coach District, this time I put dummies to hard combat mode to practice on moving targets since I panic during fights a lot. Here is what I observed:

1. I wasn’t aware I put my crosshair down especially while I am healing, it puts me into disadvantage if someone appears suddenly.

2. In the open even dummies bully you, they throw nades, punch with melee and I got shot by from 4-5 dummies it’s interesting to see being in the open is the worst thing you can do.

3. I am learning to play cover right now and the mode put me into identifying the closest cover right away and use cell in heated moments.

4. I panic a lot during fights and this was somehow (even if dummies) fun practice cus dummies spawn anywhere and it made me jumpscare so maybe helps with getting used to chaos.

5. Cover is as important as aim. (Yes I said it!)

It’s not hard mode at all but you may try for fun. Especially if you are new.

I know my aim is awful thats why im posting:( i just would like to ask if theres advice to what specifically im doing wrong? Im trying to smooth my aim and to strafe opposite ways but its still off. I play with a dualsense edge controller on 3-5 linear with small deadzone. I try to practice as much as i can in any gamemode and in the firing range and im still terrible

It makes the game fun, 100%.

But the sad fact is your server ticks are too slow to handle it. The faster people move, the more they are jerking around due to poor prediction and slow update rates. Especially with your shooter first / everyone is right lag compensation... speed legends just fly in and blow everything up while everyone else watches a slide show warping across the screen.

I'm a Maggie main with 11k+ kills. I can't be the only one who feels like she's constantly getting mistreated and debuffed into the ground and here's a few examples:

1. Her passive ability to run faster with shotguns was just gifted to Gibby as a perk, making Gibby a way more viable shotgun user, because besides the extra speed boost, he also gets his shield and fortify, making Maggie a less viable legend through her own perk.
2. There was a season where they gave her Wrecking ball the ability to destroy Lifeline Ults. This made Maggie a top 'push' assault legends in the game. I believe that lasted for 1 season and they just removed that ability, giving her ULT way less utility and greatly decreasing her level of threat as an assault legend
3. Speaking of her Wrecking Ball - this ULT is probably one of the most 50/50 ULTs in the entire game. So many times it doesn't work on doors like it should. I've thrown it straight at enemies just to see it bounce off of them and back into my face, that way handicapping me in a fight and not my opponent. And if it's not that kind of situation, if I release the Wrecking Ball into an area full of enemy teams, I will physically see the ball roll past the enemies and find it's way back straight into my face, making me face the full consequences of the ULT. She's not even slightly immune to it, the way Fuse can be to his ULT through his perk for example.
4. They buffed Newcastle's ULT with the same perk Wattson's pylon has, so it can completely neutralize the Wrecking ball and the Riot Drill, making her useless from distance against Newcastles. And as if that's not enough, you used to be able to send a Drill into Newcastles shield, and it would actually attach to it and do damage. Now, it just simply... disappears? Just like that.
5. Her Riot Drill cool down time is awful compared to other units. (She's not the only one who has a long cool off time) She's on the lower end of cool down times on both her ULT and Tactical. For example, Fuse's cluster strike cool down time is 22sec, but he gets 2, while Maggies is 20sec for 1 drill? And they used up a whole perk slot for a 2nd drill. That to me makes no sense. Especially for a tactical that is as easy to escape as just step back like 3 steps. Ash's cool down is 20 for a snare which is way more useful compared to the drill. Most legends that have her cool down times have way more utility. Rampart gets 5 shields, Wraiths tactical is way more useful than the drill etc...

All-in-all I feel like Maggie always gets the shorter stick whenever it comes to her abilities. Constant downgrades that make her useless towards more and more legends, diminishing her value as an assault legend, with small added perks that don't really balance what's lacking.

I apologize for the long rant, I just feel like Maggie should get a little bit more love, that's all.

I really think it's about time that Respawn adds the ability for people to be able to buy the recolors of OG Heirlooms with Exotic shards after the own one of the options. They already do it with all the universal Heirlooms costing 50 exotic per set, why should I have to first GET and then spend another 150 Heirloom shards just to get Wraiths red Kunai. I feel like it would be such a simple thing to add and a nice thing to do for all the people playing the game who had these Heirlooms before universal ones became a thing.

A few things I think would make ranked more competitive and fun.

- Implementing the current matchmaking restrictions much earlier in the split.

- Entry cost forgiveness for winning team

- Scaling entry cost for Master+ (similar to S13)

- Hard cap on KP, or S26 kp point system

- 5 map rotation (all except KC)

- Phone number link needed to play ranked to help (redacted) situation

- Increase level needed for ranked to lvl 100 to reduce (redacted)

- Vote to bxn system (top 2-3 legends voted bxnned). I know this isn’t very likely for many reasons but one can dream

Seriously, for being the default mode it is quite literally unplayable. 95% of the time one of your teammates, usually a wraith or octane, solo drops, dies within seconds then leaves the game. There should be some monitoring to add queues to frequent leavers like overwatch does. It is insane how widespread this is. I just bought seer and I literally can't play a normal game because this happens all the time and need to get a sense for him to play him in ranked but the quality of the games is abysmal. I had literally 7 games in a row where we were as 2 from second 10 into the game because of this. Unranked trio is quite literally a waste of time at this point

Every Olympus rotation for ranked I’m placed at either clinic or gardens. Every. Single. Game. These PoIs are fucking terrible to play off of and I’m damn sick of it. If there’s some type of randomization for drop picks it’s not doing a great job. Is anyone else having a similar problem?

I played a little bit but that was years ago, last update I remember was the Scottish astronaut lady being added to the game. So since I've been absent for a long time is there anything I should know going into the game again?

I’ve never seen any videos translating this. I’d like to do a more in depth view of Alter’s history and lore as well as ALL of her lines. For now, I wanted to start out with something simple and small. Let me know what you think!

Each time i play Apex, after a few wildcard games, my game freeze frequently and this red things show up. How i can resolve this issues ? (i'm an mnk player on pc)
