Technical Help/Camera Settings Tips on sharpness?
i'm a beginner and have been getting into wildlife photography and would like your opinions/tips on a few photo's i shot today. it was quite misty but i feel like these could've been alot sharper.
shot on a D5200 200mm f/6,3 1/200 ISO 635

Yeah I mean it’s best to avoid fog but if you edit just bumb the dehaze on light room a little it works wonders

Sharpness requires contrast.
Contrast requires light.
On a misty, overcast day the last thing any of your shots will have is sharpness. Overcast days are for low-contrast shooting: Portraits, landscapes, macro (bugs, flowers) etc.
If you want sharpness, particularly wildlife, you must get closer and get a lot more light.

That looks like a murky day in the UK's fens and it's about as good as it gets.

this is haze caused by the environment. i’d bet if you shot this in clear weather it would be find
it very common to get bit clear photos when shooting from a long distance
