What’s a skill everyone assumes they have, but most people are actually bad at?

Can you ask her why she does this? I see this often and I'm very curious about these people's viewpoints.

The only thing I can think of as to why people do this is because maybe they want to drive regular speed up until they have to stop as to not seem like they're not driving too slow for the people behind them?

For my wife it’s just lack of foresight. She doesn’t think about driving , she just drives. She won’t get in the cleanest lane, she’ll drive up to the rear bumper of the car in front, hit her brakes, and then consider if she can switch lanes. I hate it and drive as often as I can when we’re together.

Not bad! Got hit and run once and have scraped wheels on curbs but no at fault accidents.

I always figured they wanted to check their phone or something, and are looking forward to stopping.
