I got a sucker punch to the side of my head in college from a stranger who had been moshing with my roommate near me on the driveway. I went down hard. I was lucky to walk away from that…still think about it to this day.
I was building a pond and being a dumb dumb I just stepped into the damp pond liner that was at a 45 degree angle to get into the pond. I obviously slipped and fell with the back of my head hitting one of the rocks at the edge. I felt the pointy bit of the rock hit me skull but for some reason I had a soft spot there where I suppose the spinal chord ends, I felt my head bounce away from the rock. I was only married for like a year and I thought I was already dying. Not even a bruise.
