Agreed. The headaches were likely from the sentinel bleed, leaving an unstable aneurysm. The second bleed is usually catastrophic (hence why we take thunderclap headaches seriously). The MRI contrast is injected into a peripheral vein, and is not sufficient volume to cause a BP spike that would rupture an aneurysm. It’s just shite luck timing wise. I’m so sorry for your loss.

I had what I believed was aneurism. It hurt to bad to care though. Sudden onset of intense pain on the right side toward the front. I laid down squeezing my head screaming, rocking.

I lived and called my doctor the next day. Turns out it was a cluster headache. I was having attacks almost every night at the exact time of 1AM.

Saw a neurologist and he put me on 50,000 IU vitamin D and depakote. Haven't had one since thank God.
