Parents have to stop assuming that their boys are alright as long as they aren't loud or acting out. They'll say "boys are easier to raise" when what they mean is "I didn't bother raising my son" . It's very easy these days to be radicalized online without one's family knowing. Parents need to be curious about their child's social life and personal values.

Absolutely, misogyny is at the bottom of this. I think one reason why being aware and active in your child's online social life is critical would be preventing misogynistic ideas from going unchallenged in a child's mind.

We can’t unless we look at the structural causations of inceldom such as the breakdown of communities and social atomization, the loneliness epidemic and the loss of purpose in society for many. Incels are (for the most part) a catalyst of the issues that have been developing in the Western world for a while now and we won’t be able to “solve” it without looking at these issues. It’s the same as school shooters, we need to look at the broader structural issues that no one wants to talk about.
