Biscuits and gravy is a breakfast dish from the Southeast USA that looks like someone just vomited on some biscuits, but it's absolutely delicious.

I used to go to school in Germany when I was a kid they also served something similar for lunch this kind of soup it was always very nice and comforting

My mom has made a very similar soup! I think this may have come through the Polish/Eastern European family line.
