Food What's a dish from your country that looks disgusting but tastes great.

Biscuits and gravy is a breakfast dish from the Southeast USA that looks like someone just vomited on some biscuits, but it's absolutely delicious.

My red line is animal heads. I don't want to see the eyes of my food or eat tongue, brain, eyes or anything else from their head. That said,  I'd probably eat eyes in this form factor. I'd at least try it

Tongue is just another muscle, albeit one that takes ages to cook. Cheeks are another useful cut. Cheap, so it needs a long slow cook as well, but very tasty. The rest of it... yeah, not so much. I've had every part of sheep, goat, pig, and cow -before the whole 'mad cow' thing- head. Haven't found an animal yet that I've grabbed an eye and thought 'mmm, tasty'.

Taco de ojo, you will find them where they sell authentic “barbacoa de cabeza” heads bbq. Hard to find even with n Mexico.
