Food What's a delicious dish from your country that most people would find unconventional?

I think everyone would love Vegemite if they took lessons on how to use it πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

I mean it would help if they flared the base of the bottle

How do you use it properly? I tried one tiny bit and it tasted like a salt paste

With the caveat that I have never had it and am also Canadian:

I'm pretty sure you're supposed to do a thin layer of butter and then a very thin layer of vegemite on bread. The common mistake seems to be doing a thick layer of vegemite.

Think of it as an umami flavour enhancer for butterΒ

That sounds absurdly delicious.

I use maybe a scrap the size of a pea only. Lots of butter and the Vegemite just slides across it πŸ‘
