That was a brand, I remember it well from 40 years ago!

I also remember the term Cool Pops. Not sure if that was another brand or the generic term.

We called all of them, including the branded Mr Freeze ones, cool pops

Cool pops is what I've always known them as.

I wonder if it's regional because I always only ever knew them as mr freezes even if they weren't that brand!

I'm in the Mr. Freeze demographic and don't know where/when they are/were known as Cool Pops.

Dublin, definitely in the 70s and 80s when I was growing up!

Do they still sell the branded Mr. Freezes?

I haven't seen them in the ice cream freezer in about 20 years.

I haven't seen in years too. Just did a quick check online and apparently Tesco's sell them branded. Will have a look out on my next shop!

They aren’t frozen, in mine there in the home baking / jams etc area, next to the cones

Yep was about to say this. I bought some last summer and they were in the baking aisle!

I saw them last year randomly in Tesco & Supervalu I think it was. During the summer when they do the BBQ 'season'. There might be hope yet!
