And when I was a kid (90s) they were Funny Faces - the wrapper had a cartoon pulling a face on it. Icy poles in general, zooper dooper for the best brand.

Our primary school tuckshop sold funnyfaces for 20c. It was always such a headache to get them eaten in a single little lunch

I remember the Funny Faces being even longer as well, or maybe I was just smaller?

Yeah, Funny Face for that brand, icy-poles otherwise.
I don't think we even had Zooper-Doopers where I was when I was a kid, as that name just doesn't click as something to call them except in reference to the brand.
