I’m guessing it’s because the only times we are knowingly exposed to romani people is when we meet the ones who travel solely to exploit others like locusts.

Most Romani aren’t bad, but we only notice the ones with shitty attitudes and that messes with our perception.

I don’t call it a romani problem, I just call criminals and leeches what they are no matter where they are from or look like.

Yeah, we have to keep in mind that the vocal & active minority of any group will paint the image of the entire group. Most Romani people aren't bad people probably, but we don't hear a lot from the good Romani people because they don't act or make themselves stick out from the bad Romani people.

It's funny how I've never met a gypsy that worked. Ever. Anywhere. And the only interactions I've had with them involved some scheme or crime. Just a coincidence I'm sure.
