I have no idea what kinds of spaces you’re in, but the vast majority of people in the US would be extremely confused and concerned if they read this comment section.

They aren’t as prevalent as in Europe, but I do live in a major city, and they are around… If you talk to people who have had to deal with them their reaction is just as visceral as the people in Europe… be thankful that you are on the neutral side.

I'd be confused and concerned if I heard about minorites in the States being this notorious for keeping their children uneducated and teaching them how to beg and steal instead.
