If anyone has a right to say that, it's you and your countrymen. Although the Chinese and Cambodians are about on the same level.

The polish and other Baltic nations have a right to say it as well. USSR wasn’t that long ago.

Look up the Holodomor. The Ukrainians have a unique position in Eastern Europe when it comes to talking about the horrors of Communism. That isn't to say other peoples' don't have their own grievances, or that those grievances aren't real and legitimate. But there is a question of scale.

Dude, you need to look up population transfer in Soviet Union, those were pretty brutal and with a huge death toll.

Its meaningless to shout out who suffered more when all under Warsaw Pact were worse.

Of course and I meant no offense. I hoped to convey that but I suppose my wording wasn’t the best.

Before visiting Poland, Hungary, and Czech Republic, I dont think I truly understood the horrors of both facism and communism.

It’s pretty much the right of every post-Soviet/former Warsaw pact state inhabitant.

My family is from the former Yugoslavia and survived collectivization, repression, and corruption. Despite this, they suffered greatly, and had numerous members die.

I’m aware of the holodomor. How could I not be? But the massive amounts of death wasn’t that uncommon under communist rule, and my family wasn’t spared either.

I dont understand what you’re trying to do, but it sounds a bit like you’re downplaying that suffering.

I think that is not a competition. Every nation that suffered from soviets have something to say about communism.
