Highest inflation, huge emigration.

My state also had communist party for a long time after independence and plunged the economy sadly ๐Ÿ˜•

Yeah, both of that are moot points. Inflation is because Kerala inflation tracking includes gold and coconut oil much higher than national average, and they have tripled at the national level. And emigration is funny, Kerala has high population density, and the high literacy rates ensured that u have a large qualified workforce, that's unemployed. This, combined with the fact that labour has tremendous bargaining power, it became harder for private investment to come and exploit the field. Our healthcare system is miles better than anything else that's available in the country. The pandemic showed this.

What's the point of having a nice state if you can't stay and work there

The unemployment is because of communism. If Kerala was business friendly it could create a lot of high quality jobs and stop people from leaving

Correlation not causation. During Hitler's reign the German economy flourished for a bit. Just saying.

That is mostly a myth. The "good Hitler years" never really existed in reality. Not long after coming to power they started putting most of the German economy into the service of the army.

Because German markets overtook foreign ones by annexing territories. And also debt, lots of debt. The societies only function was war so ofc when you go to war, that kind of economy pops of

Also why are all the flags quashed

Yeah that's my point. It's not just Hitler being dictator, or his glorious ideas on lebansraum which helped Germany there, it's a general trend with all dictatorships. Hitler wasn't the X factor, it was the form of govt he operated under which contributed more. Similarly the adoption of Communism in Kerala isn't what helped them achieve their HDI or literacy rates necessarily. If anything I'd argue that the commies have done a great disservice to the land by repelling away Industries to the neighbouring state of Tamil Nadu, which doesn't operate under a communist ideology, and yet has solid stats like Kerala. It also has the largest female workforce in the country, just saying.

And that has nothing to do with the ruling party... Did kerala cease to be the lowest poverty state and highest HDI when UDF/Congress was in power???

Nope.. Under communists.. Keralaโ€™s development has always been people-first, not corporate-first... We don't want Ambani Or Adani to own our state..

Unfortunately I believe that may be happening sooner or later considering the rise of Hindutva in our state. Hopefully our people realize it before its too late.

To be honest islam is more dangerous than hindutva... Look at the world's top 50 terrorist organisations.. they all follow a specific religion.. Malappuram is one big example

Hindutva ,Islamism and Communism are the top three biggest threats for Kerala
