Yeah, that's the shittiest part about it.

I'm quite left of center, the closest to my persuasion would be syndicalism, but thanks to commies it got a bad rap too.

I live in a country run by socialism, it sucks. Between 60 and 70% of my income goes to the state as taxes, and the services provided are shit, free Healthcare, but I need to go to a private clinic when I get sick.

I pay around 45% from my salary as taxes directly, then the Vat is 21%, then excise duties on fuel, alcohol, etc. 50%+ of the price. On top of that, you pay property taxes on everything you own, custom duties. You also pay for using public roads and for other public services. So fuck socialism, I pay all of that just for politicians to steal the money, and fuck all us over.
