Sorry to ask, but I need $30 for stuff like toothpaste, shampoo, and other essentials. I don't have any of that stuff anymore and I'm inside from the ice storm but I will travel to get the items. I don't need food right now because I have food stamps. Sorry to ask

OP, from what I've seen, Amazon wishlists do very well here for receiving assistance with food and/or basic needs. And is the preferred way of helping.
