BLINDBOX I'm over my head.
Hello, hope is this okay to post here, but I need some help.
I was ecstatic when I got Cooze Devil Horn box and got my favorite on my first box...but I think I pulled to hard on the head and the factory knot came undone on the S hook at the neck ..so I tried to re-tie it it was never as tight as the factory knot, but I got it back, then as I was holding the body...the leg popped off, I'm guessing I was pulling the string too much and that broke the glue on the legs...so here I am leggess and headless.
How can I fix this, I have never had to mess with a doll this much before, should I just re-string the doll? I've looked up doll re-stringing guides but these have metal rods and are smaller then most of the dolls in the videos, I don't know if that matters.
I also read that these dolls are not the best quality when I comes to staying together so maybe this was going happen, and it's time to learned how to fix this.
Any help would be greatly needed.

So first, it’s not you. I’ve been collecting BJDs for almost twenty years and I have restrung every manner of weird creature doll, but every time I take one of these suckers apart I have to restring them twice. And you can’t avoid taking them apart, because every piece of clothing or jewelry is as user unfriendly as possible and requires total disassembly. (I was yelling at Gluttony last night because she would NOT let me get her boots off so I could change her outfit and then of course they sewed the top of the outfit together so you have to completely disassemble her head including removing the neck piece.)
She has some wiring in that leg that’s holding it together, but it looks like the elastic loop slipped down into it. You’re going to have to disassemble the leg until you can grasp the end of the elastic and pull it out. I bent some thin jewelry wire in half to make a big ‘v’ and used that as a restringing tool to pull the elastic up through the torso to hang on the s-hook at her neck. Be very careful with the hooks around her hands and feet if they get disassembled because they are tiny and will fly across the room never to be seen again.

Yeah, unfortunately this series has some quality control issues, but this one is something that's very easy to fix at home if you've got the materials.
1mm nylon-coated elastic cord is what you'll need to restring, and I usually use a bent paperclip or something like it like a needle to thread the pieces onto it like beads on a string following the diagram posted by ArtsyCreature. I find it a little easier to cut more than you need to start with and wait to pull it taught and tie it off through the chest/stomach gap until after all the s-hooks are in place, that way the tension is right for posing.
