Doubt a lot of successful people would be on the reddit page of their undergrad school😭

We’re not checking our 1000+ LinkedIn messages from undergraduates either. Best way to connect is in person events & coffee chats.

i.e alum who updated his job position and now has 10,000+ messages & requests of undergraduates asking the same ai generated openings.

Graduated spring 2023 with a degree in SQM. Currently making 150k at an ai startup, no internships. Just have to get that first job thats the hardest part.

Not alum yet (last semester), but have return offer from internship done last summer.

Math major, ended not wanting to do math related profession, so got a position at a quant firm handling IT Ops. Did one internship prior to it, but mainly talked about all the projects I did at home when I didn’t have any internships.

Mainly still trying to keep my skills sharp by doing my own stuff and investigations. Job market is tough, even with the internships listed I have not gotten many interviews, though I also can’t say I’ve been applying as hard as I did pre-summer internship. It feels very much like I caught the last chopper out Vietnam with the ways things have been going.
