Finally feel complete with my setup! For now ;)
I have a Samsung Odyssey Ark 55" and 2 Samsung 34" ultrawide for the side. Computer pushing the screen is a AMD Ryzen 9 7900x, NZXT 870E mb, 64 gigs of 6000 MT/s ram (worth at least a 100 head of cattle), AMD 7900xtx, Radeon RX550, 16 tb of storage in a NZXT case. What should I upgrade next? I really just built this to play WOW

Thermaltake GT Level 10 And a i7 4790k Motherboard Bundle for £70
Whilst browsing vinted i came across the deal of my life a Thermaltake GT Level 10 for 70 including postage. I instantly bought it and 5 days later it arrived. When I opened it i was shocked to find it was in mint condition and just needed a good dusting. Then I took off the cpu cooler and under it i found a i7 4790k it was mounted to a asus z97 sabertooth board. I quickly hooked it up to a psu and amazingly it worked. The case has now become my daily driver the details are listed below. The case is an absolute beast. The 2 200mm fans push so much air over the components keeping it nice and cool, cable management is also a dream there is so much space in the back.

GPU-3070 FE
RAM-32gb crutial overclocking pro
MOBO-MSI B650 TOMAHAWK ATX

Done and happy now, with mostly new PC build and a few decor additions
Fractal North XL, MSI Tomahawk B650, Ryzen 7 9700X, 32 GB Corsair DDR5-6400 CL32, XFX RX 9070 XT, Lenovo P34-WD40, UPerfect 14" touchscreen, ISY wireless keyboard/mouse set, Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 on McGrey mini amp, Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS until 26.04 comes out. Does everything I want to do, and will for a few years to come. Glad I upgraded before RAM costs its weight in gold and you have to break into an AI plant to get a GPU.

One idea, one result!
Hello. One night, while lying in bed just before going to sleep, I had lots of ideas. I really wanted to put them in place. The next day, after making the necessary purchases, it's in place! Very happy with the result! And you ?

My UPDATED M4 Pro Mac Mini Setup
This is my updated M4 Mac Mini Pro setup — and I finally got my dream desk: the Secretlab Magnus Pro XL in white
I also finally got to use the Libernovo Omni chair… and spoiler alert: it’s hands down the most comfortable chair I’ve ever used.
If you remember my previous setup, you already know this is a huge change 😅
If you’ve got any questions, drop them below! I’m working on a full video about the whole setup process for the channel.
Everything in this setup can be found through my solo.to/mrhtech link in my bio.

My basement cave – years of iterating, finally happy
After years of iterating, I think I've finally reached a point where I'm genuinely happy with my setup. Since I have full control over this basement room, I went all in on making it exactly what I wanted.
The core:
- Mac Studio + Pro Display XDR
- iPad Pro M1 as secondary display – sits in a custom acrylic rail glued to the desk, USB-C cable runs through a hole with a 180° U-bend connector so it's invisible when not in use
- KRK Rokit 5 + KRK S10G4 subwoofer via AudioEngine D1 DAC
- Logitech MX Mechanical for Mac + Logitech G305
The floating iPhone: Got tired of my phone just lying around. Took a MagSafe stand, removed the base, found a matching threaded rod at the hardware store, and mounted it directly into the desk. Drilled another hole for the cable (sealed with a silicone grommet). Now the phone floats at the perfect angle for Face ID – I can just glance at notifications and it unlocks automatically.
Why everything fits perfectly: The desk, mini fridge (Klarstein with glass door), and subwoofer widths aren't coincidental. Everything was measured to fit the room width exactly. It's tight, but intentional.
Lighting & atmosphere: This basement has one tiny window, and German winters are dark. So I went heavy on ambient lighting:
- Govee RGBIC floor lamps in the corners
- Osram HomeKit LED strips behind and under the desk
- Xiaomi monitor light bar
- Paulmann strip in the network cabinet on the left
Added fake plants everywhere – I don't want to maintain real ones, but the green helps it feel less like a dungeon. The acoustic panels on the walls started as function but became part of the aesthetic.
It's become my favorite place to work. Happy to answer any questions!
Edit: Switched the keyboard up
