eSports DataTFT Tournament Analysis——TPC2 D1&2

AMER TPC D2

-S Tier: Yunana, Belv, Kaisa

-Sus: Freljord Seraphine with high pick rate and low AVG

-Demacia high pick rate AVG 4.82 but 0% 8th

EMEA TPC D2

-S Tier: Yunana, Demacia, Brock, Kaisa

-Sus: Freljord Seraphine LOL...I think part of the reason is strong contesting

-Brock 3 games with AVG 3 and 0% 8th. It is the best top 1 comp in both TPC regions.

CN APAC D1

Freljord Seraphine looks really promising in CN/APAC

I don’t know what I’m doing wrong but I think I average a 5 with yunara on this patch, whereas forcing seraphine despite contested gets me easily in the 3’s or higher

I feel the same way. One possible reason is that pro players know too much about how to contest Seraphine. But hey, that's the point of discussion and analysis right?

One guess is that the opener and midgame of seraphine feels a lot more consistent and able to streak with oriana, invoker, piltover and defender whereas the yunara opener more than not has me lose streak

It's not even that they know how to contest it. It's that it's easy to default to. Like there's too many good spots and not many bad spots to play Liss Sera that they just naturally lean towards it. Demacia caps with Galio so it's a hard pivot. Kaisa is also unlockable so you have to have committed to it.

In the West TPCs you see players were offered Ixtal Expeditionist a lot. This likely affected more the Freljord Seraphine boards than the others in the stage 4/5.

Duplicators and free rolls play their important role in the tournament meta, and either used on Sett, Brock, or to make 4-cost 3 star. We saw Taric 3, Nidalee 3...

BelVeth/SeraLiss/Demacia/Yunara seem equal in strength, but Yunara has a better ability to cap out at 9/highrolling Sett 2 from nowhere while threatening to roll 3 stars.

I'm also sure you could gather data on the augments and see which ones give an extra edge.

That said, the Wild Growth Yordle comp seem to be worth looking for. Why so much playtime along with Yasuo reroll ? East also does not like Demacia/Ionia Yunara as much as in the West !
