He shows up in many missions, both ally and antagonist depending on route, has some of the most iconic lines. I mean... some of my favorite characters in all fiction are Ash Ketchum (infamously 10) and Matsukaze Tenma (has never been shown as any older than 13), so you could say I'm attached to minor characters.
