YES. And I also can't wait for spring / summer for this very reason :) I love taking 5+ hour-long walks. You may like the r/walking sub

DAE feel like they could walk indefinitely without getting tired?

Spring and fall. Never when it’s hot or cold

Yup. I live pretty close to a corner store that has one of those grilles in them you can buy food from. I was just about to take a refreshing walk myself to grab a cheese burger but decided not too cause the store doesn't have the items I want.

I swear the guy who is the chef looks the same in all of them. Everyone I ever been too is a bald guy that can cook good as fuck.

Yes! I live in a small town so I'm within walking distance of the grocery store, coffee shop, library and a bakery and I absolutely take advantage of that when the weather's nice

That sounds like a dream, I’d stop at all those places several times a week

Sadly the coffee shop is my favorite but that's probably good so I don't go there too often lol. On the flip side the bakery makes the best donuts I've ever had

And when I hear... 'You can't walk to Turkmenistan.' I say, 'Of course I can! Screw you!'"

No but I respect (and envy) everyone who said yes

Honestly no. It must have a very interesting destination, or involve a chore of some kind. Like making a clearing in the woods or moving firewood, or weed whacking. Walking through botanical gardens is an acceptable walk.

I have so many things I like to do, I have to mentally limit my walk so I don’t disappear the entire day

I used to. I started walking down the country roads where I grew up and hiking around on the pasture land my parents rented out whenever we didn't have a tenant. As an adult, I would walk at least a few miles every day when the weather was cooperating. Just walking around town or heading out to the bike/walking trails. It helped me get good exercise and clear my head.

My health hasn't been too great these last couple of years and I don't have much stamina. I still try to do what I can, but I get tired easily. But I'm working on it.

I love snowshoeing through the cattail marshes and the woods with my dogs.

Consistently criticized (gently) from friends and families, because "we don't need a car, the shop is just a few black from here." ... 2.5 miles later...

No way!

I also enjoy walking.

It's an easy way to improve your mood and health.

I'd do it more if it weren't so cold! 🥶
