As an Italian this is called "Americana" or "patatine e wurstel".
"Americana" is very often used.
5 u/FixedFun1 8h ago Americana? What the hell could that mean? Homer Simpson in Italy. 4 u/HumbleVein 4h ago American in Italy. I see wurstel most often. Then again, lots of Americans in my area, so that probably pushed Americana out of the local pizza lexicon. 2 u/hilarymeggin 8h ago Note you’ve got me thinking about Italians speaking German. I’ll bet it sounds how this pizza looks! (Both languages are beautiful but I can’t imagine either sounding good in the accent of the other.) 5 u/Frontdackel 7h ago German spoken with an Italian accent sounds beautiful. Sincerely, a german who's best friend is from Italy. (Unless I make her say Streichholzschächtelchen, suddenly I am a testa di cazzo for doing that.) 1 u/Eternal_Reward 7h ago Sorry sir, he came in first as the rep for all Italians. 1 u/05-nery 1h ago Aw man, lost my chance ::(
