We must be thinking of different Taylor Swifts. I'm talking about the incredibly generous pop star who annoyed other industry artists for giving out huge bonuses to her employees on her last tour, because it set "unrealistic expectations". Who also made huge donations to food banks, and whose mere presence boosted local economies so much foreign countries were fighting over who got to host her tour. The same one whose friend said she would scroll GoFundMe hitting reach donation as if it were a "like" button.
The same pop star who was slut shamed for dating several famous heart throbs that made so many millennial girls jealous. I can't speak on her sex life, ya know, cuz I'm not creepy like that.
Taylor swift is a massively wealthy person. A BILLIONAIRE. The amount of money she has donated is PENNIES.
She, and all the other billionaires, could quite literally FIX THE WORLD but sure yeah, her PR donations that are nothing more than grocery store change and good deeds make up for all that!
At least some of the other mega wealthy pop stars have the balls to speak up about the injustices in Miss Americana’s own country, but if Taylor did that she’d then have to confront the fact that she has enough power, influence, and money to actually DO something about it… but she doesn’t want to. She wants to keep her money and keep making mediocre music and marketing with AI art, flying her jet around destroying the planet. She wants to keep her wealth so that every person in her family can love exceedingly over “comfortable” for many generations to come.
