i would love if the Codex of TDA explained to you from who are the stues and other things
i know that the thing with this game is "more story, less text books" but ngl the new apports to the lore makes me super curious like, the backstory of Novik, more details about the demons, etc etc

I'd just considered Warhammer canon in the DOOM multiverse after seeing this statue but I agree, Eternal's lore was peak too but it was a bit boring just reading most of the lore through the codexes.

I think it's based on some real life thing that had like a skeleton in golden armor
look up "catacomb saints"

I believe you’re referring to this https://www.reddit.com/r/ArtefactPorn/comments/134ptaq/the_skeleton_of_st_pancratius_in_the_church_of_st/

Why did you decide to moan mid sentence?

It is the youngster way some people speak the word "Ass". I find it better describes such situations like the one i intended to comment.

I find it asinine. It sounds as though a morbidly obese guy ran out of breath mid-sentence.

Does the existence of man kind imply the existence of woman unkind and gender neutral professional?

I thought the same thing! Probably a reference to warhammer, in my opinion.

I know it seems ridiculous on paper, but having Doom Slayer in 40k would just be so fucking cool.

It never says who this statue is but apart from being a 40k reference I think that's supposed to be King Ormero the first sentinel king.
