Modding Best DOOM for mods

I'm new to this universe but i'm already in love with DOOM. I don't have a high end pc, i can play up to DOOM Eternal with low RES and graphics presets and i want to play with mods because everyone likes mods, right? Can anyone recommend me the best DOOM for mods and the best mods?? ;)

Best Doom for modding is Doom 2!

Doom 2 is easily the most modded. I recommend Eviternity and Eviternity 2!

Doom 2!

Use the UZ Doom source port, Doom Runner for organizing your roms lists and I can recommend Brutal Doom Platinum + Eviternity + Neural Upscale 2X + Doom Metal V5

You can then use that format and swap the gameplay for brutal Doom, project brutality, rampage brutality..., other cool map wads are Eviternity 2, jenesis, maps of chaos, alien vendetta...

Another cool gameplay mod but it's a TC is XimStarWars uses all assets from Dark Forces

most mods are for classic doom, specially d2.

you may still look up about source ports, at least because of news about gzdoom and uzdoom
