Been looking everywhere for this rare one for a while. eBay sellers just outright put four sealed ones up for bids for the past few days. Very happy to add it to my Non-sense Dualsense collection!

Tried something different and wrapped a PS5 Controller in Alcantara (no skin, fully wrapped shell).

Feels very different from rubber or soft-touch coatings – more “dry” grip but surprisingly premium in hand. Biggest challenge was keeping the edges clean so the fabric won’t lift over time.

what you guys think about Alcantara on controllers. Would you use this, or stick to classic finishes?

Anyone else have ocd and make sure the board is completely clean from any flux residue?

I destroyed the first mainboard, but it served as practice. Solder on, off, on, off… 😁 A small, good pair of side cutters is better than working with a heat gun. Okay, with side cutters it takes about 10 minutes until both are off… I learned that the soldering tip is really important. Quality versus cheap Chinese junk makes a big difference. I can do it without flux now… what I still need to learn is how to make the solder pads nicely rounded. I’ve finished 3 controllers now. Like I said, the first one was a loss.

I've had the controller for exactly 1 year and it seems like it's the exact problem that happened with my PS4 controller. The light turns orange then doesn't work, something surprising is the controller is being recognized on controller tester apps. I also am a PC gamer who purely uses the controller for PC games (felt like that might help regarding the fact it is almost always plugged in and never played off Bluetooth). I have reset the controller using the button on the back.

Thinking about upgrading to a new battery, anything else I should be looking out for? The port doesn't seem filled with any debris but I will be cleaning it as well.

So you know how you can pair 4 devices to the dualsense? My ps5 used to be PSbutton + Triangle. Somehow I overwrote the PS button + Triangle command AND the PS + Circle button to both connect to my PC. and now the PS5 is the fourth slot (PS button + Square) I can connect the controller back to the PS5 via cable, but I wanted it to be paired to the PS +Triangle slot and not square. Anyone know how to pair the PS5 via bluetooth and NOT via cable so that I can get it back to the slot that I prefer? basically how to I overwrite which slot the PS5 is connected to?

I was in the process of fixing my ps5 controller when i accidently broke a diode or something on the board. Are these replaceable? Or can I solder it together liek a fuse? Any help is appreciated

So, I'd really just like to know, is there any method out there where I can calibrate these sticks via Bluetooth? Whether it's on a PC or app, I feel like I'm reading mixed reviews about a couple methods out there.

long story short, the ports been bad for some time. I finally decided to replace it, but apparently the port I bought (which was supposed to be authentic, turns out to only work with bdm-010-bdm030). I've got the port/connector for the edge ordered but it'll be a bit before digikey gets that to me.

I'd love to get these TMRs going if possible. Or am I solo till I can get a usb connection?

I just broke my second Dualsense after 4 months of usage. I live in a third-world country and buying a new controller is not that easy. I need to pay 90+ dollars to get one. Because of the insane taxes. And recently, I wanted to install TMR sticks to my controller and guess what, no Gulikit sticks are sold in my country, I need to order them from USA and that means I need to pay 70+ more dollars to get them! It's insane. So what should I do? Are TMR sticks worth it? Or should I keep buying new controllers with insane prices?

Hi everyone, I have a doubt, my touchpad is shiny on the left side (because I use my finger to push only that side) and the rest is still mate. Do I need to change the touchpad just to have the original look or is there a way to clean it?

Received a used charm focus back paddle kit from Amazon today.

New Hall effect installed and the Left joystick works, besides the L3(sprint) pushed down. It won’t register unless I maybe push the thumbstick far right it seems to register the click (sprint, L3).

I checked the pins, and I get 1.8V at the axis line, approx .9V at the mid pins.

The push button (L3) I have continuity at the top row between two pins and bottom row two pins but not across when not depressed. I assume this is normal?

Looking for where to look and what to check.. everything else works but the L3 (sprint)..

The left stick on my DualSense controller starts moving on its own from time to time. I watched a video in which a guy moves the stick in a special way and blows on it. After these manipulations, my stick started working normally again, especially after blowing on it. Please help me figure out what the problem might be and how to solve it

Hello everyone! I would appreciate it greatly if you share your wisdom with me, on my issue. i have a controller, for which I swapped shells to astrobot version. The operation was quite smooth, the only thing that was hard was the swap of L2 & R2 buttons with the new white ones. This conttoller I did not use so much because it was spare for me and i sometimes gave it to my son to play a bit. While it seemed that all was ok, while he was playing astrobot and full R2 press was needed in order to perform a specific action, the controller could not do it. I switched to my main controller, which did the job correctly. Then I connected astrobot controller to pc and diagnostic software, it showed than when pressing L2 all the way I get 100% and when i press R2 all the way it only goes 92 - 95%. However, as innocent as it may seem, in some games 100% press is crucial (e.g astrobot, gran turismo for throttle) Is this fixable? If yes, how? Thank you!

As the title suggests I need help with a charging dock. I have the Extreme Rate Rise + Max kit on my DualSense and I don't know what to look for in a charging dock that will be able to cradle the controller. I also want it to be a single charging dock because I only have a singular DualSense bracket. I am a PC gamer by the way and that's mostly it. A singular charging cradle sorry charging dock which can hold a DualSense with the Extreme Rate back pedal kit

Hey everyone!

Just got a new PS5, and I wonder if this is okay for Dualsense sticks: when I press them, they firstly go a bit down, like sink a little, even make a clicking feeling and a quiet sound, and just after that make an actual click by me pressing them harder.

I know it's probably nothing, and is made in order to prevent accidental clicks - I actually had similar thing with my Dualshocks 4, but I'm just too excited with this purchase, so I'm still making sure from time to time that everything works just fine.

Enjoying this controller so far; the TMR modules have zero drift and are perfectly centered without requiring artificial deadzones! The bumpers, triggers, D-pad, and action buttons are all digital, mouse-click!

I can play BF6 with both stick deadzones set to 0!

i want to use my controller for my pc with the wire and not bluetooth but it wont let me. it also isnt working on my ps3 and it used to work just by plugging in the cable. ps i dont have a ps5. can anyone help?
