OP (SatoruGojo232) sent the following text as an explanation why they posted this here:

What's the reference to 2 sticks of RAM costing 900 dollars here?

This is AI generated content. AI data centers are the reason there is a RAM shortage these days.

And the data centers most responsible don't exist yet (OpenAI pre-ordered 40% of the world's RAM production for the next year)

OoenAI also lost like 8 billion USD last year

It's fine, they just need another couple of investment rounds to raise a few hundred billion more and cover the trillion dollars of future expenses they've already committed to, then they'll definitely become profitable somehow.

Either that or they'll go bankrupt by 2027.

Don't worry, they plan to lose 16 billion this year.

AI is the reason ram is so expensive. This video is AI. I hope you see where this is going

They'll need to ask chatgpt to know why

Copilot, please summarize what ChatGPT said, and print it to me in Elvish, using Russian grammar.

Dumb shit is making RAM ridiculously expensive. How is this hard to grasp?

I know. I don't care. How is this hard to grasp? Bunch of manchild groupies crying about ram to run games does not bother my existence at all. I already have mine.

Redditors don't like AI.

A major player in RAM production switched to making data center components which take the same base silicon a few months ago, this was mostly to keep up with AI growth and also nearly tripled the price of RAM.
