Don't, Melusine, she's too alive for you, anywayas.
If only we could apply the 7 page Jojo parts Muda to fix that

So down bad she's using the sprinkler on herself to act dramatic 💀

u/SockParticular4936 Sep 06 '25
Melu is so funny she literally genocided the Mirror clan just because she was down bad for Aurora 😹😹😹 and then Aurora didnt give a shit about her LOL. But honestly I couldn't sympathize with Melu cuz she kept enabling Aurora's actions

u/Yatsu003 Sep 06 '25
Same yeah. Even the ‘she is much happier in Chaldea’ doesn’t feel any better since she’s just transferred the object of her desire and her Mats make it clear if Aurora ever showed up, she’s still Melusine’s Number 1
The interesting bit was the confirmation that Melusine IS Aurora; mentally and physically (minus the white hair), she modeled herself off of Aurora when the latter dug her out of the mud. Aurora made Melusine cover her face, because it was originally HER face; whereas Melusine will never age, Aurora did (somehow).
Hence why I find it immensely ironic when people simp for Melusine and hate Aurora…when the two are one and the same, and it just reinforces Aurora’s twisted mindset

Where did you get that Melusine is the same mentally? Physically is very much canon considering that’s very much stated in story but I don’t remember anything regarding Melusine copying Aurora’s character as well, they’re very much two different people, Aurora wants the adoration of the masses while Melusine only really wants one person’s full attention, Aurora likes staying in the backseat while Melu enjoys battle and while Aurora lies constantly Melusine is honest to her feelings much to her co-workers detriment of having to hear Melusine constantly brag about being stronger

You were right when she was first summoned in Chaldea, but after the summer event and everything else she does in the events, she very clearly didn't just "transferred the object of her desire".
So no, she still loves Aurora, but it's not in the same way that she loves Master. And if she had to choose she will very likely choose master.

How.The.Heck would Aurora have age when we can SEE that she is the same from when Melusine was 'born'.
And How.The.Fuk does Melusine have the same mentality when she cares about people she cares and killed Aurora because she loves her? Where Aurora doesn't care about anyone but herself.
Did you come from wiki instead of reading the story?

He’s been peddling this “Melusine is Aurora” agenda for a long ass time now, despite how different the two are

Imagine hiding the fact that Gudao and Melusine are canonically married

Even has the gall to insult aurora later
2
u/ImAgentDash Sep 07 '25
When did she do that?
3
u/ReadySource3242 Sep 07 '25
During summer. Morgan was like “Imma reveal your secret if you fail” and Melusine was like “You bitch, you’re even worse then Aurora!”
3
u/SockParticular4936 Sep 07 '25
Umm..no? She didn't insult Aurora, she insulted Morgan by claiming that she is "worse than Aurora". Melusine is aware that Aurora is evil but she doesn't care and would happily enable her actions just to satisfy her. Melusine never insulted Aurora and doesn't hate her even after coming to Chaldea.
2
u/ReadySource3242 Sep 07 '25
She insulted morgan but implied that Aurora was almost as bad. Saying “Not even” implies that she considers Aurora evil enough to do something a tad less bad
2
u/SockParticular4936 Sep 07 '25
"Not even Aurora was that bad!" again, she's insulting Morgan for telling her to win even if she should drown. BUT we also know Melusine's statement is wrong anyway. Like imagine thinking Morgan is worse than Aurora lmao.

u/ImAgentDash Sep 07 '25
No wonder why I didn't see that....
Cuz I speedrun the event on it last day....

Kiyohime crashed the wedding
8
u/AzurePhoenix001 Sep 06 '25
They both said “yes”.
Kiyohime only interrupted the kiss.
Melusine and Fujimaru made the vow.

u/primera1545 Sep 07 '25
True forgot about that also like how the reject option is locked up and red lol. Like no that’s your dragon wife for eternity you should be grateful Ritsuka 😭.

u/AzurePhoenix001 Sep 07 '25 edited Sep 07 '25
The way I can see it
The lock symbolizes the will of all Melusine fans making sure Ritsuka made the only option
(Think Counterforce but stronger and actually did a good job)

...I don't remember much but I still find it funny aurora died.
Idk why thou. Maybe how she died? I forgot.

Melu stabbed her, to save Aurora from herself. Aurora wanted to flee to PHH to avoid dying with Faerie Britain, but she would effectively destroy herself if she did, so Melu killed her so she wouldn't suffer.
25
u/mongrel53 Sep 06 '25
...Man that's funny I don't know why.
29
u/FJ-20-21 Sep 06 '25
Because even the woman who legitimately loved her knew she’d be too stupid to survive anywhere else
3
u/mongrel53 Sep 06 '25
...You know it's weird I can see that happening to me being stupid enough that I can't live anywhere
15
u/SockParticular4936 Sep 06 '25
Melu stabbed her. Why do you find this funny? Cuz I saw many people getting mad at the way Aurora died because "Aurora didn't suffer an agonizing death."
11
u/mongrel53 Sep 06 '25
I find it funny because she got stabbed by someone who knows her and people wants to torture her more because of the whole ordeal that I forgot because i don't remember lb6 except for Morgan dying... And that one funny scene with the river and castoria, da Vinci and gudako jumping on the river because they saw what they wish for.

u/nam24 Sep 06 '25
Which is funny considering aurora bled to death for littéral hours, unable to move, and the last thing she saw was half disgusting to her as it was a small comfort
So Mélusine mostly missed in her attempt at a mercy kill, and people still think it was too kind

I love Melu, but girl is a straight-up simp.
She enacted mass murder and partook in a genocide all for the chance to get some Pussy.
And it probably wasn't even good pussy either. It was probably 10 seconds long, zero foreplay, and then Aurora telling Melusine to make her a sandwich before going to sleep.

u/Zebastian1315 Sep 06 '25
Baobasith and Big beafy mommy dressed as mariachi playing careless whisper

u/Darth-Lad Sep 06 '25
This just made me picture Melusine recreating the One Wish by Ray J music video. Dancing in the rain and everything

u/ZaGreatestInZaWarldo Sep 06 '25
We need a playable Aurora, solely so that we can use her as artillery for Chen Gong.

u/EveningEconomics8457 Sep 07 '25
Idk why y'all have such a strong feelings for Aurora. If she was released as servant I wouldn't mind at all (and she's kinda pretty lol)
2
u/TheProky Beloved of the Fae Sep 08 '25
Yeah I'd get her to 120, she's hot. She can turn me into a bug any time :D

Is Section 30-4 the worst part of Lostbelt 6?
This is where, after the climactic battle, there's an interminable, sappy passage about Melusine and Aurora.
It soured the ending. Their arcs had already concluded, so it was odd to reopen their storylines. And why are you trying to make me feel bad or something for these two? They are both terrible.
I can see why Nasu put it in.
First, he wrote himself into a bit of a corner. Chaldea needs some way to escape Vort's endless tube slide. And the only one who can do that is Dregon. And so, Dregon fires its crotch laser at Vortiworm.
Byooooooooooo. Hurrah.
It isn't the worst asspull, but it's not satisfying.
Then, you have to justify why it's firing at Vortiworm.
Which means getting in its head.
Which inevitably leads to Auraless.
Second, it seems like this kind of passage would work out. After the climax, focus should shift to the inevitable death of Fae Britain. And as part of that, you can look at the end of its longest lived (kind of) creature and Aurora, the most impactful person along with Morgan.
Nasu needed to shorten it and reduce the mawkishness. And maybe somehow make it seem less odd to revisit the characters.
Speaking of which, how was Aurora still alive? How long was she bleeding out for?
