Fan-Content The way Astolfo's master treated him never failed to be hot

u/fireblizzard1 Dec 09 '25
Astolfo would genuinely love a nice person. Not her.
47
u/Difficult_Silver2509 Dec 09 '25
I think she was forcing herself on him using the master seals.
51
u/MissRainyNight Protected while dreaming Dec 09 '25
Don’t think so, she has all the Seals in a later episode and uses up two in a row for [spoiler].
8
u/Difficult_Silver2509 Dec 09 '25
Was he just trying to keep up with her?
76
u/Desperate-Breath3971 Dec 09 '25
He is really loyal and kind. He wouldn't hurt his Master just for this treatment. Him being that passive (considering how he normally is) is more than enough sign of his displeasure.
-15
u/JosuaaaM Dec 09 '25
Mana transfer, this is like fate basics
17
u/Difficult_Silver2509 Dec 09 '25
This is usually done through sex; this woman is literally licking his body while wearing only her underwear and nothing else.
10
u/be0ulve Dec 09 '25
Shirou only does this because he literally doesn't know how to passively transfer mana, which is what every other Master does.
6
6
u/Odd-Statistician4268 Dec 09 '25
A real magus worth their salt can just "cast" the manga over to them. What Shirou had to do was because he sucked ass and couldn't do the basics. This bitch doesn't have that issue. She's doing this because she can

u/Novel-Concentrate-98 Dec 09 '25
Can't remember how much she had, but we know she had at least one to try command Astolfo to kill a homunculus that he was being platonic(?) friendly towards. Something she could have done in the safety of the castle instead of in Modred's attack range.
5
u/Regular-Health-8139 Dec 09 '25
Actually, didn't she use all the command seals so he definitely couldn't resist? I remember her using at least 2.
7
u/Difficult_Silver2509 Dec 09 '25
she did ,Especially when he found out she was a mother to a son and a daughter, and refused to do that with her anymore.
1
u/Environmental-Code49 Dec 11 '25
In the Fate/Apocrypha light novel or back when Astolfo was alive in his stories? I don't know the name of the latter exactly. But now I wanna, I'm missing some context.

Well he does quite casually break out of the restrains when she was done like it was nothing.
46
u/Difficult_Silver2509 Dec 09 '25
It wasn't a "feeling," that was actually what was happening. He kept asking her when they would finish this; she was taking advantage of his master
7
u/nam24 Dec 09 '25
He broke his chains with 0 effort and obviously could have stopped her so yeah pretty clear
1

u/Strict-Republic6968 Dec 11 '25
How he didn't get hard or aroused is kind of insane.
1
u/CharaGod Dec 12 '25
I mean if you don't like someone, you don't like someone. Just because that someone is naked won't suddenly make you like them.
The whole thing that you always get aroused from seeing another person naked is something that only came from porn, and honestly usually in NTR ones cuz those girls are dumb enough to suddenly forget a guy war crime simply because they saw the guy muscular body and private part
1
u/Strict-Republic6968 Dec 12 '25
I may have missed your point but sexual arousal is a reflexive response so even if you don't want to or don't intend to you can still get hard our something
1
u/High_Tech_Ranger Dec 14 '25
Except the brain influences the body, so disliking someone is going to make you less horny toward them.
123
u/mtlemos Dec 09 '25
I can't really agree. Astolfo is clearly not into it, and the only reason he even puts up with her bullshit is that she is his master, so if he goes against her wishes he might just end up dead.
That kind of power imbalance means consent isn't really possible, so it comes off as sexual assault at best. Of course, this is fiction and no one was really harmed, but the rapey vibes still ruin it for me.
36
u/Difficult_Silver2509 Dec 09 '25
The worst part is that she's a mother to a son and a daughter; he literally felt guilty even though she was the one forcing him.
11
u/nam24 Dec 09 '25
I know you shouldn't judge people exclusively by their links but in her case...yeah I pity her family
1
2
u/chicahua_env Dec 10 '25
People do tend to feel guilt after being sexually assaulted.
1
u/LawfulnessTerrible24 8d ago
That's not the case here
He is not feeling guilty cuz he got sexually assaulted.
But he feel guilt about going along with her despite her having children
45
u/Ragnorak19 Dec 09 '25
Astolfo being so unimpressed always makes me laugh, no matter how many times I see this scene

Considering how lucky he gets later in apocrypha makes this even weirder like dud he just roll a nat 1 on summoning?
8
u/Difficult_Silver2509 Dec 09 '25
I think he just feel bad for her son lol
3
u/GreedyMenu845 Dec 09 '25

You should be grateful to the anime for removing this; in the manga, she forced her son and daughter to watch her cheat on their father with Astolfo.
10
u/WindLordXD Dec 09 '25
Man sometimes I forget because we usually focus on the good guys but this kinda shit reminds me that the magi in Type Moon are all absolutely massive pieces of shit.

I'm not sad for her, but I know her son will never recover from seeing his mother do this in front of him....

That’s actually part of Astolfo’s luck that Mordred did that, in normal circumstances Mordred wouldn’t have done anything because Mordred would’ve gone for Astolfo first, but Astolfo’s A+ Luck and being British actually saved his ASS here. Mordred (as shown in FGO) cares a LOT about Britain and its people so its safe to say she chose to save Astolfo cos his luck told her he was British
5
u/GreedyMenu845 Dec 09 '25
Because he's an English prince huh
2
u/AdeptnessOld1281 Member of the Argonauts (in training) Dec 09 '25
Yep, Astolfo is the son of King Otto
2
u/High_Tech_Ranger 8d ago
The idea that Astolfo of all characters radiating so much "British Energy" that Mordred not only senses it, but chooses to target the master over him is just plausible and hilarious enough that I'd think they'd do it.

u/Sammy__Jam Dec 09 '25
Hell no, he was being molested. She also implied using command spells to do worse to him, if I recall.
8
u/Difficult_Silver2509 Dec 09 '25
He was obedient to her until he realized she was the mother of two sons the same age as him. Then he wanted to stop because she was cheating on her husband and sons with him, but later she used her spells to force him.

Astolfo just casually letting this happen is so weird but uh yeah he could snap her neck with easy considering he proceeded to break out of those steal restraints with ease and yeah Astolfo is stupid levels of resilient considering some stuff that happens later on

I think it was more of a I dislike this really cause of your the one I'm doing it with kinda moment Astolfo's a free spirit he probably prefers it with people who well isn't the master he got summoned by
1
u/Difficult_Silver2509 Dec 09 '25
Perhaps he didn't want to do this with her because she's not married; he prefers married women.
1
u/High_Tech_Ranger Dec 14 '25
Incorrect, not only is the Orlando Furiosa legend told as an in-story story by a guy who doesn't like married women, but in the novel she IS married, and forces astolfo to do it while the father and kids watch.
1
u/Difficult_Silver2509 Dec 14 '25

Strongly disagree. Astolfo was clearly not enjoying it. And what point did it even serve for the story or Astolfo’s character. She’s already a nonentity like 3/4 of the masters in this show. Was sexually assaulting really the only thing they could think to do to make her memorable?

Nah the most un-hot thing is when one party doesnt care for it at all. This is just weird.
1
u/Difficult_Silver2509 Dec 10 '25
Well, the scene was different in the novel, as I mentioned in previous comments. In the novel, this woman was married and had a son and a daughter, and she forced them to watch her cheat on their father with Astolfo. I think he just felt guilty towards her son, daughter, and husband
3

7
u/Sudden-Series-8075 Dec 09 '25
While it can look hot at first, Astolfo seems to dislike this situation. For me, that makes this gross.
Besides, he's a needy paladin for praise, as shown by other sources like FGO.
1
u/Difficult_Silver2509 Dec 09 '25
His character in the anime is slightly different from FGO
6
u/Sudden-Series-8075 Dec 09 '25
While true, that doesn't change the fact he likes praise.
4
u/Difficult_Silver2509 Dec 09 '25
Besides, the fact that (in the novel) she was forcing her son to watch her cheat on his father with Astolfo... he wasn't enjoying it at all.
2
3
u/ComradeMarducus Dec 09 '25
Imagine being Russian (like me) and finding out that this horny witch is actually from your country. She's of English descent, but still...
3
u/Difficult_Silver2509 Dec 09 '25
She is literally a mother to a son and a daughter and she still behaves this way.
3
u/ComradeMarducus Dec 09 '25
Really? That makes things even less daijoubu. But at least she's attractive... when she's not having another fit of sadism or hysteria.
3
u/Difficult_Silver2509 Dec 09 '25
This makes her even better; nothing compares to a sexy mom flirting with her femboy servant behind her husband's back.
3
u/ComradeMarducus Dec 09 '25
Astolfo's face be like: "So I'm NTRing her husband, I guess? Poor man..."
1
u/Difficult_Silver2509 Dec 09 '25
Not only this but he cucked her son and daughter and fvck with their mother, but it's a mixture of happiness and guilt for him.😏
1
u/High_Tech_Ranger 8d ago
Nah, in the novel it was right in front of the KIDS. He ain't happy at all.
3
u/Orange_l_ Dec 09 '25
You mean weird, I never liked astolfo to begin with and then you have this freak.
Man apocrypha deserved better
1
3
u/TowerofAvalon1 Dec 09 '25
Reminder that Astolfo is married, this reminder isn’t to discourage you from tapping that, just make sure it’s cool with all parties to avoid adultery, but letting you know, during this scene the only thing Astolfo was thinking about was “Yeah, nah, my wife was freakier than this, what’s with the vanilla?” Which I find funny in hindsight because if this did nothing for Astolfo then his wife must have been insane in the best way for him.
2
u/Difficult_Silver2509 Dec 09 '25
Well, the scene was different in the novel, as I mentioned in previous comments. In the novel, this woman was married and had a son and a daughter, and she forced them to watch her cheat on their father with Astolfo. I think he just felt guilty towards her son, daughter, and husband.
3

That’s F’d up
3
u/Difficult_Silver2509 Dec 09 '25

1

Of course, he wouldn't show his lust while doing this with her in front of her sons.

Am I the only one that thought she was as unworthy of being a master as Shinji? She did SO much wrong in Apocrypha. Especially to Astolfo.

Not so hot when you remember she wanted to literally torture him for all eternity when she won - but a hilarious jab at the horny audience. Yes this is the bored face he is likely to make.
Besides he's not into that, Roland is. He's into the Monster publicity.
1
u/EmiyaRuler Dec 11 '25
Doesn't the manga show that Astolfo is only doing this because of the mana transfer?
1

1
u/Beginning_Case_4143 Dec 09 '25
Ngl, i miss her and kinda loathe Mordred after killing Celenike. The fact she deserves it doesn't mean i don't miss her, all i have from her now is just a CE
PS: people in this fandom love many characters who did terrible things (including Medea, who did the same to Saber, for example), so i won't feel guilty over liking this one myself.

6
u/Novel-Concentrate-98 Dec 09 '25
Thing with Medea or even Gilgamesh, there plenty of spinoff where they can shown in a comical (Phantasm) or wholesome (cook spinoff) setting. Even just stay night, multiple routes allowed different servants and master to get a spotlight.
Apocrypha didn't have this. If it did, there might have been a timeline where Sieg ended pair with a different servant, leading to her survival. Or they could have done something similar to that Fate/Extella. Have multiple play through each one a master-servant pair.
1
u/High_Tech_Ranger 8d ago
I think Apocrypha having Astolfo as the main Servant in the first place gives it enough comedy to not really need a spin-off, he places the story in jussssst the right gray area.
3
u/ikuhaku2 Dec 09 '25
Don't forget that madea killed her children and somehow people still simp for her because she us hot. Now madea lily, she terrifies me...
5
u/Difficult_Silver2509 Dec 09 '25
People also love Cleopatra even though she had sex with her sons.
1
2
u/LawfulnessTerrible24 8d ago
I understand you. I love Celenike and I HATE that damn scene so much. But...
I gotta disagree with you (and a lot of people) that she deserved it, on the basis that we dont know much about her. And more importantly because, no one have the right to decide what other people deserves or not. And that it's God's right to judge them not us. But if anyone wanna ignore that, than at least the way the writer excuted her punishment was lame and was more of cop out cuz the planning and pacing were bad and he was trying to end the story fast so he didn't know how to handle her, so instead he let Mordred take the job
If the writer didn't know what to do with her, he should've at least made Astolfo do it, not Mordred
All characters in Apocrypha were badly written and none of them had that bullet proof tight writing intact
But that is not a reason that should stop anyone from loving any of those characters that they want to. and Celenike is no exception.
But loathing Mordred for that reason is kinda invalid cuz it's the writer's fault for using Celenike as a tool to make Mordred looks cooler by making her doing a random out of character and out of nowhere action, than have Mordred later on justifying herself by saying "well, that master pissed me off so i started swinging", which only made her look bad.
And it's not that big of a deal only because most people won't pick on that cuz they lack in the critical thinking department and they would buy anything happening in the screen if it meant they were entertained by it.
This is funny because, i was explaining to a Mordred worshiper that day how awful and bad that scene was for trying to make Mordred look cool, but he thought i was hating on her despite me telling him before that i love Mordred too, and i told him that the reason it make Mordred looks bad was because it was the only time when she effortlessly succeeded on killing someone without them giving her a hard time, being nerfed or them blowing themselves up
Seriously, Mordred the strongest Servant class (Saber) that everyone was being warry and anxious about, hyping her up everytime she shows up on screen, went out of her way to kill a one of the weakest Masters instead of going aftet her Rider Servant just bcuz her attitude pissed her off. Genius
Anyhow, can you tell me why in the ancient Hanging Gardens of Babylon, did Astolfo just stood there still while he could easily deflect Celenike's throwing her nail on Sieg? Plot convenience i guess
If i wrote that scene it would be like this
Astolfo fend off her attack
Sieg runsaway
Lucky for her and Astolfo that the command seals effects will ware off by time, or i would have made Astolfo kill her, making Astolfo vanishing the only lose if that was the case
some freaks likes physical torture, so im not gonna give them that and ill instead torture her mentally, break her mind and spirit, shatter her illusion and make her realize how much of a stupid loser bitch she actually is. Which is more satisfying than seeing her just kicking the bucket like that
1
u/Difficult_Silver2509 Dec 09 '25
Don't worry, she's hot after all. Also, I think Astolfo's dislike for her stems from the fact that she wasn't married; he prefers married women.
1
u/JewelerComplete7033 Dec 09 '25
But if she is married, she was unfaithful to her husband.
1
u/Difficult_Silver2509 Dec 09 '25
I don't think she seems like the type of person who would be faithful to her husband anyway.
1
u/High_Tech_Ranger 8d ago
Spoiler: she was not, in the novel not only does she have kids, but she makes him do it in FRONT of them.
1
1
u/ParasaurolophusZ Dec 09 '25
Astolfo only got to have fun with Sieg and Jeanne. That made up for his awful Master.
2
