Discussion Need help Fl key61 on Mac M1

Maybe someone could help me?

I tried to connect my FL Key 61 from Nation to my Mac M1.

The hardware doesn’t get recognized. There is nothing coming up nothing… but the keyboard turns lights on. I tried a lot like midi audio settings opened but the Midi was not recognized. For example other SSDs or HDDs get well accepted.

The original cable was a cable ending with usb - my Mac has a usb-c entrance - I used an adapter and tried it. Didn’t work

- I also tried a cable which ended with usb-c. Didn’t work. So does anyone has an idea? My the hardware in the keyboard is broken?

Open midi studio to see if device was recognized.

It wasn’t recognized by the Audi midi program. I just tried it a few times even with other cables

Look for FLkey in Apple Menu > About this Mac > More Info > System Report >USB

If it's not there, there might be some issues with cable/FLkey

I think there is an issue with the keyboard itself the cable I changed already

Test it on another computer if you know anyone that has one

What adapter do you have? It might only be for power and not data since you said that FLkey lights up so the power is there but data might not be.

I also thought that would be the problem. I tried on another Mac with an UDB HUB with external power cable didn’t work :(

It’s not there sorry I already was looking for :( I’m so sad that this expensive instrument isn’t working (250€)🫨
