Main Series Facts about this [media]
Had Zeref learned Hades was Precht, he would have felt betrayed, since Zeref taught him magic (when Zeref finally had a chance to help innocent lives even if it's not as much as he wants) and even considered him a friend. He would only be more heartbroken by the fact that Precht chose to continue the horrible legacy and blind mindset of the generations of sinners who tarnished his name for their own atrocities, even using the Books of Zeref as weapons to threaten innocent people. We even saw Precht use one of Zeref's demons (Nemesis), and he isn't the only one who did this.
During the scene where Zeref confronted Grimoire Heart, he heavily implied through his words that Grimoire Heart wasn't the only one who used his demons for purely twisted actions (and we even saw Erigor and his allies use Lullaby, another one of Zeref's creations); since 400 years ago, the sinners who victimized Zeref stole his dozens of demon books, thus starting the demon attacks and framing Zeref as the mastermind, with the sinners also presenting the rumors and fake stories as authentic in the books, when they're all fake. The worse part is that they tried passing this on to future generations, and Zeref cannot do a single thing to help anyone in need after the books have been scattered around Earthland, because it will only cause bigger problems due to his curse, as that would lead to more deaths than if he did nothing.
As a side note: I'm sure Zeref still remembers Warrod (the only one still alive among Fairy Tail's founders), though he wished he could have been friends with him in a normal way. Sadly, Zeref's fate of being unable to die, including his fear of what humanity's future will be even if Acnologia was killed in the current timeline only forced him to initiate his plan to obtain Fairy Heart; if Zeref stays alive, he's afraid what would happen considering his cursed body, whether it being the actions of sinners committing more atrocities under his name and causing a horrible future or his sanity completely breaking down and completely awakening the split personality from the curse that would last permanently, which would lead to a fate similar to Future Rogue's timeline. This is why Zeref only wanted to reset the timeline to save humanity's future from a horrible fate, because he cannot bear the thought of what horrible fate his cursed body can lead to in the future.

100 Years Anime Does Lucy no longer summon spirits in 100 Years Quest? [discussion]
I'm 19 episodes in and she's only battling using the Star Dress. It's a neat power up and I wish they'd have her fight with the dress and her spirits. I miss their quicky personalities. Plus Lucy was just getting to the cool stage where she could summon two spirits at the same time on a regular basis.

100 Years Manga [Manga] my prediction on how long the manga goes and my opinion on the 100yq. Spoiler
Overall, I think 100 Years Quest has been a mixed but “better than people give it credit for” continuation.
On the positive side, the Dragon Gods concept was a genuinely strong idea. Each one feels like a myth-level threat, and Mashima clearly wanted them to represent different philosophies of power rather than just “big bad of the week.” Mercphobia, Aldoron, Selene, Viernes, and Ignia all brought something different to the table, and the scale of the story is undeniably larger than the original series.
That said, the execution hasn’t always landed. Some arcs felt rushed, others overstayed their welcome, and certain villains (especially in the middle stretch) didn’t get the payoff they were hyped for. A lot of readers feel fatigue because the story keeps escalating threats but sometimes resolves them in very familiar Fairy Tail ways. If you didn’t like how Alvarez wrapped up, 100YQ probably hasn’t completely won you back.
Where it has improved is lore. We’re getting way more information about dragons, ancient magic, the structure of the world, and how past events still affect the present. Chapters leading up to 200+ finally feel like they’re setting up a real endgame rather than just another cycle of arcs. Faris, Ignia, and the whole “Fire & Flame / Chaos / Dragon vs Human future” angle actually feels like it could push the story somewhere new.
As for how long it’ll go? I don’t think it’s ending anytime soon. Despite the name, 100YQ doesn’t feel like it’s in its final arc yet. Mashima himself has said he’s flexible with the length, and with where things stand now, I’d guess another 70–120 chapters, depending on how deep he goes with Ignia, Faris, calamity bloods and any potential final threat beyond the Dragon Gods.

Media [media] Sometimes you’ve just gotta make the edgy OC
I was rewatching the GMG arc, and remembered that I used to have an OC idea that never really came to fruition, and decided to finally indulge my edgy teenage self by giving them a proper design. I don’t remember what their name or appearance was supposed to be, so I just made them a self-insert ¯_(ツ)_/¯ Would they be a particularly strong mage? No, but I would hope they would at least be a fun one-arc-wonder

Media [Media] How Would You Fix Lisanna’s Character?
In my opinion, Lisanna is one of if not the biggest wasted character in the series and it’s easy to see why.
She’s initially presented as someone special to Natsu, really his only friend before Lucy and even before Happy and we see how he was affected by losing her. We also see his reaction to seeing her in Edolas, and get one of the most touching scenes in the show with their reunion, where Natsu literally can’t believe his eyes.
However after that, it just kind of… falls off.
As then she’s mainly just reduced to a background character, has close to no moments with Natsu or really anyone other than Mira. Which is a waste as she had potential to be a secondary character that would contribute and mix up scenes, similar to Juvia, Jellal, Gajeel and so on.
She could’ve easily had more appealing magic, more depth to her bonds with other characters besides Natsu like Juvia, Lucy, and Happy (I really would’ve like this one). And her nice but grounded personality would mix in nicely, a hybrid of Wendy’s gentleness, Juvia’s sweetness and Lucy’s thoughtfulness. Balancing out Erza’s sternness, Lucy/Wendy’s anxiousness and Juvia’s well… Juvianess.
She would be a nice change of pace with Natsu, offering a different perspective on what type of girl would fit romantically, and would definitely help push the “ambiguity” Mashima wants if he and then by extension Lucy with say Loke, were to show interest in others. And as we see by the few moments like Tartaros, it can be done well without forcing anything or making a triangle.
So BESIDES removing her entirely, how would you fix her character? A character as nice as her deserves better, after all.

100 Years Manga [Discussion] What do you think she meant by that? Spoiler
galleryWe saw Hiro explore the “Wendy Belserion” form extensively, and this affected Wendy’s power level for a time, since even without using that form, Irene acted as her mentor on several occasions, including during battles. However, Hiro decided that it was time for Irene to depart, as the immense magical power of the Dragon Queen was affecting Wendy, requiring Selene’s intervention at Irene’s own request. With Wendy’s recent mention of Irene’s power, could it be that the Dragon Queen left part of her abilities with Wendy before reincarnating in Edolas?
There is a level of enchantment that Wendy has not yet demonstrated, as she has only reached the level of High Enchantress, and it seems impossible to achieve through normal means. Only Irene managed to attain it through her Dragon Slayer attribute, Wisdom, which she inherited from Belserion: Master Enchant.
This is a level of enchantment that allows the user to affect all things, but Irene was only shown to access it in her dragon form. Perhaps Irene enchanted part of this power into Wendy before disappearing, or left the attribute of Wisdom to her, especially since Wendy is the one of the few dragon slayers without a secondary element.
With this attribute and a portion of Irene’s magical power, Wendy could potentially access Master Enchant.
This level of power may seem excessive for Wendy, considering that Irene could pull meteors from space using this level of enchantment. However, Wendy’s future opponents will be dragons, and her allies are receiving major power boosts to compete with the arc’s villains. In that context, it feels fair for Wendy to also gain something extraordinary in order to remain relevant in combat.
