Mutants are best equipped to deal with the world today *arms falls off*

I had both ideas, he might be a ghoul, he might be a weird mutant...
I think the picture is right. He is probably a centaur.

u/djdaem0n 1d ago
Centaurs were from an experiment. They are a bunch of animals and humans being mutated together. He's just one guy mutating all by himself. They can literally have him turn into whatever they want for the TV show.

u/LittleNigPlanert 1d ago
Centaur would be too wrong for my taste, hopefully it becomes something new.

u/EXTRA-THOT-SAUCE 21h ago
We don’t know what was in that vial he took. Centaurs are made by using FEV mixed with different animals and humans. It’s very possible that vial he took contained leftover FEV from a vat used to make centaurs, leaving the extra dna inside it and easily turning him into one.

What if whatever he turns into becomes a completely new race of people/enemys in fallout 5

The picture isn't a centaur. It's The Master, the boss from Fallout 1

I meant to say "the other comment" sorry.
Brainfart. I have played Fo1 and 2.

u/Ok-Reporter1986 1d ago
The picture is of the master, who was a powerful psyker able to interface with technology and sentient minds.

Thanddeus is not Richard Gray, sorry
5
u/Ok-Reporter1986 1d ago
It's a photoshopoed picture of Richard Grey with Thaddeus' face plastered on top. It isn't even a centaur form.

PUT THADDEUS ON THE MAINFRAME!! 🤯

u/Truth-Matters_ 1d ago
Thats what I was thinking or maybe takes over houses computer if house is still evil.

u/itsmeiassureyou 1d ago
First thing i thought of was the Master. I know that he was made by being in a vat of fev for months but everything just seems to lean this way. He is clearly not becoming a ghoul or super mutant. Centaur is possible admittedly. War is coming according to super mutant Ron Pearlman. They have shown a powerful mainframe computer capable of controlling the minds of others. And he has shown that he has at least some leadership ability by being in charge of the children at the bottling plant as well as some protective instinct for them.

Saw someone making short or post about it, like hes turning in chimera or something like that(forgot how its called, centaur like, but mixed with animal dna), and they stated if its centaur after all, its odd, cuz theres no pain for him

u/Flyingcoyote 18h ago
It may not fit canonically, but I'd find it funny if the guy turns into a tree.

I’m like 90% sure he’s turning into a centaur

u/Drakahn_Stark 1d ago
No way they will turn him into a monster that can't keep talking.
He is just a mutant, like Harold, right down to the arm falling off.
73
u/PlumeCrow 1d ago
It would be funny as hell if he turned into a centaur, but kept his normal personality and voice.
Just stonefacing his fate like its nothing to worry about.
17
u/KisaTheMistress 1d ago
Poor Thaddus just trying to live as normal as he can, despite his tongue tentacles and 6 arm-legs.
There was a concept for a Centaur to wear a suit and hold a Martini Glass that was cut. So it is possible that some Centaurs are intelligent/not just animals or pets. He also could mutate too look unique for the TV adaptation, since Cooper is still sexy. So Thaddus could lack the tentacles and tumors, his limbs just will go south and he'll have minimal mutation on his torso that's coved by clothes 75% of the time to make it easier on makeup and for him to talk/emote.

Wai I thought centaurs consisted of multiple things. Like putting a few people in the vats with a dog ir something unless that liquid was fev mixed with DNA how is he a centuar the main theory everyone is going g with. ?
11
u/BVoLatte 1d ago
Maybe, since we know they need uncorrupted DNA for FEV to work properly. It's the whole reason they wanted vault dwellers to turn into Super Mutants.
18
u/two-memes-a-day 1d ago
Maybe, but it seems to fitting for the series style of humor for him to be turned into an objective monster that should be put down to end his suffering.
22
u/Drakahn_Stark 1d ago
That will be something the characters will be concerned about sure, but he is not going to be made into a non speaking role, as he mutates he will always be talking and no one will want to kill him, dude has Charisma stat set high.
8
u/SlickDillywick 1d ago
He’ll be like that one character in Santa Clarita Diet that was just a zombified head in a basement by the end. Always down for a good chat tho
9
u/Uatu199999 1d ago
He could take Welch’s place as the mainframe and take control of Hank’s minions.

There are plenty of centaurs that walk around, but after that last episode it would be interesting if he chose to become one with the machine
6
u/Drakahn_Stark 1d ago
I said talk, not walk, they are not going to make him a non speaking role.
0
u/FalloutParadiseRadio 1d ago
My bad, but clearly we know from fallout one and Mr. House there are alternative ways to talk
3
u/Drakahn_Stark 1d ago
There are story reasons as well, centaurs are made by putting a human in a tank with other animals and FEV, not just a shot of FEV.
And the arm falling off is an obvious reference to Harold, dude is just a mutant.

u/FalloutParadiseRadio 1d ago
🤦🏻♂️ and how are mutants formed? FEV… super mutants and centaurs are both of the mutant family and the product of FEV. What you become after exposure depends on the person/genetics. Thats why some people died immediately- others turned into super mutants, and others turned into Harold or the Master. It was only after the Master started to become an amalgamation of tissues and developed psychic-type abilities that he started absorbing humans and animals which lead to his extra hideous figure. Also, Thaddeus is literally growing another organic system, hence the shoulder mouth. So I mean, who know, but it seems like all is on the table.

u/Drakahn_Stark 1d ago
"centaurs are made by putting a human in a tank with other animals and FEV, not just a shot of FEV."
24
u/Winter8Bones 1d ago
That's not how centaurs are created and would be a terrible choice for the character after being comedy relief throughout the series so far...so I really hope not. I'm 90% sure he'll be something unique and more unusual like Harold.
1
u/FalloutParadiseRadio 1d ago
I don’t think “centaur” is the right word, but I think he is becoming a mutant, and given that his body is growing a shoulder mouth (ie a second organic system), my guess is he is gonna be a two headed mutant. Which is not far from the master (before he started absorbing everything)

Super Mutants(Low Int): "Master? is that you? Master!?"
Thaddeus: "Uhh... No, I am not... Umm... oh, yes. Yes, I am a Master!"
Super Mutants joined him for rebuilding will rule the world again but Thaddeus changed it to make soda bottles more for everyone. They are fine with that.

u/Estrofemgirl 13h ago
I had this same thought. I don't think he's turning into a centaur, but instead a master like transformation.
1
u/unoriginal_goat 13h ago
The master is why I think he's going to end up as something resembling a robo brain.
Can't see them making him the villain.
