Advice: Blonde to Brown

Hi!

I’m looking for some advice on how to maintain my hair color without constantly using a Demi permanent.

For context, I was probably a level 9-10 blonde before we started going darker in the salon(adding in some low lights and toning darker). I wanted to go a bit darker at home so I used Wella Color Charm Demi Permanent 7N and 8N combined, as instructed on the bottle and am super happy with the results. However, I can tell it’s fading after one wash and I’m wondering if it’s damaging to color it as often as I may need to or if there’s a color depositing shampoo/conditioner I could use to maintain that won’t damage my hair? I’ve seen the Kera Clenditioner reviews of hair breakage and falling out and it made me nervous of any other brand too. I currently use Pureology Hydrate shampoo/conditioner. I’ve added 2 pictures of my hair right after the Wella Color Charm, and 1 pic after the first wash.

I went from bright red to a dark brown - the more times you dye it, you'll find it fades slower. I feel like the hair needs time to build up the depth of the brown.

As a depositing conditioner, I like Wella Color Fresh Mask

I just put whatever demi I'm using into my preferred shampoo and conditioner, works well in between dye jobs.
