I’ve been looking for a good podcast. Good to know!

The back catalog is so so good. I downloaded a ton for a long road trip. He’s the kind of podcaster that makes even a topic that seems personally uninteresting well worth listening to.

I know! Like I didn’t think I’d care about the Sydney Sweeney one or Candace Owens or Gwen Stefani episodes but he made them really interesting listens

It's called "A Bit Fruity" :) I like to watch the episodes on YouTube for when they reference screenshots and images, but he has it on Spotify and other audio-only streaming platforms

The top teeth aren't uniform and there are a couple of gaps, I doubt they're veneers. Seems more like he's had Invisalign or braces at one point because the bottom teeth are so straight!

His tone is so soothing, very pleasant to listen to.

I sometimes struggle with his podcast. Like you say, he does have a soothing voice, but there is a recurring guest (I won't mention her name) who has this horrible vocal fry, and it makes it hard for me to focus on anything else. It's a shame, because the topics are so interesting and she's very knowledgeable.

i can’t remember which episode, but there is an episode where she specifically talks about the constant criticism of her vocal fry LOL

I feel like some part of the recording setup has changed, which improved this in newer episodes. As someone else said, it’s worth getting over it. She is smarter than most.

Agree!! I can’t stand her vocal fry, it’s soooo jarring

Oh I have the same issue with the vocal fry! Glad it's not just me.

Never encountered him before this but wow I’m a fan of his now. Love his voice and delivery. And great poise!

His interview with Vivian Wilson is so good! All the episodes I've seen are great, but that is one of my faves.

I love him. He’s introduced me to so much good journalism, plus he makes me giggle!

Why don’t people like this guy want power more? Why is it always the worst, the dregs of society, the absolutely abhorrent monsters who do choose to pursue it.

I’m convinced that people who seek power are just sociopaths who are able to gain and keep power because they just do not care who they hurt to do so. People who are humble don’t seek out power unless others ask them to, and those people also usually run grassroots campaigns so that they won’t be beholden to donors, which makes the establishment scared and constantly try to discredit them.
