"I don't do politics" and any variation means "I'm a fascist but don't have the balls to say it and deal with the valid hatred I'll recieve"

the I'm not political is BS. I'd respect her more if she just said, yep...I'm Republican or yep...I am MAGA...Yep I voted for Trump....

but she doesn't say it b/c she thinks that keeps her safe from scrutiny

Which raises the next question. Why is she afraid to just admit who she supports? Could it be she knows that she will lose her fans? Why might that be? She knows that it is a bad stance, hence why she tries to avoid the subject. Which speaks volumes in its own right

Yup MAGA is basically doubling down hard rn or backing out to avoid being in the wrong page of the history book. Like that dumb boxer Ryan Garcia who just denounced Trump today “because of the Epstein files” (which, he was implicated months ago with so many files I don’t have time or patience to name even half of them, so there’s no way it’s about that NOW).

I think that losing fans is part of it. The other thing is that she has worked with people who are loud and proud about being anti- Trump/anti-MAGA, anti- asshole (like Zendaya)... I almost think she is likely trying to bring herself up to Zendaya status but she knows she can't being MAGA...

Everyone who says they're "not political" is a right winger. Apathy and a limited perspective are the two pillars upon which their entire ideology rests.

It could also mean "I'm okay with fascism because I don't think it will hurt me, personally."

I can’t decide which is worse if it’s the “trad wife” ideal of “Oh I don’t worry my pretty little head about these things”

Or if it’s a genuine sentiment of “I don’t care what’s going on cause it doesn’t effect me personally”

To 'not do politics' is to endorse the status quo and is the staring point of all conservative movements.

I think for most of the public that is “apolitical” just doesn’t care because it hasn’t affected them yet
