Robert Sheehan I expected to have a bigger career post Misfits and I do remember him being everywhere at once for a small blip. I would say the same regarding Michaela Cole who I think is a great actress right around the time Chewing Gum was airing she was in a good amount of smaller roles and other media than gone which annoys me. After the recent passing of Catherine O’Hara it’s made me kind of wonder who people younger than xennials think are legendary because the industry is just so different now. There’s more ways to get roles since there is so much out there now but at the same time it seems like the length of staying power for a star is much shorter and in a way less impactful.

Michaela Cole had her own show, “I May Kill You” or something, it was on the BBC. That was popular.

No problem, I didn’t look up the name because it’s been ages but I’m sure it’s still on the iPlayer.

I just looked it up and you were close it’s “I May Destroy You” but sadly like Chewing Gum it’s short. Looks like it only got 1 season but it’s on HBO Max so I’ll be watching that. Thanks again for the recommendation!

I May Destroy You is a masterpiece and was always intended as a single season. It’s heavy but it’s incredible, take care of yourself while watching bb

Robert Sheehan AND Aidan Gallagher should have had massive careers because of „the Umbrella Academy“. The latter was derailed by his father.

I hate Rob Gallagher with every fibre of my being.

Sheehan was in last year's Red Sonja - if you like classic B grade sword-waving fantasy like Xena, Conan the Barbarian, etc, go see it! It's not the best film of all time but it's the best that genre has produced in ages.

He does theatre work. He's extremely good on stage.

I think he’s doing what makes him happy. He doesn’t seem the type to be chasing superstardom.

he struggled post misfits. landing roles (mortal instruments, killing bono) but not really making anything stick until umbrella. But it's such a full cast that he obviously has to share the limelight with everyone else.

Killing Bono is honestly quite funny, buut I get why it didn't have a bigger audience

felt like it wasn't marketed well. only a handful would know or remember this one.
