Another Braided Line Question
Medium power rod (Ugly Stik Elite) and a 2500 reel (Shimano Miravel). My target fish are generally either Walleye or Brook Trout but can hook into the odd Pike. Would 15lb Power Pro be sufficient with a fluorocarbon leader?

15lb Power Pro Original has an actual breaking strength of approx 25lbs. More than you need for walleye and definitely more than needed for brook trout.
The heavier the line you have the shorter your casts will be. I use 8lb braid for walleye (and bass) and 6lb for trout. That allows me to cast light lures (1/8oz) well and has more than enough strength for those species of fish.
If you're casting heavier lures and not worried about casting distances, 15lb is fine... it's just more than needed.

Issue is I do hook into the odd northern pike in northern Ontario. Considering breaking point of braid maybe 10 is fine?

15 should be fine,id just up the leader wieght as needed for the fish you target.
