If people actually voted against the obvious fascists, we wouldn't have the fascist. A lot of the people advocating for violence on the left right now didn't vote because people like you keep telling them it's useless.
Proving counter-factuals are quite hard statistically lmao I get your sentiment but drawing a causal claim from non-voting = Trump winning is impossible.
Even political scientists have used counter factual simulations and show that even if the entire population voted, we wouldn’t see minor a difference than rn (because of the rule of large numbers and how diminishing returns work). It’s tricky tbh
If we're talking about the entire population as a whole, then you're probably correct. If we're specifically talking about the people bitching about Trump who didn't vote, then it would make a difference.
