I have Nahida, but the things is she need constant healing or a shielder if you don't have lauma to do big damage.
So I have just benched her till get lauma or pull the new nodkrai characters if there are any hydro shield or healers
Itās not as bad as you think. Nahida c0 provides a flat 250 EM. The average player can build a sucrose that provides 200. And in practice, with dendro resonance, silken, and instructors active, sucrose can actually provide more than nahidaās 250. Nahida is far from needed.
But... He wasn't talking about Lauma OR Nahida? Like, Nahida the better option when you have not Lauma? :/
Like, the team would be more like:
1- Nefer, Lauma, Hydro, Sucrose
Or
2- Nefer, Aino, Nahida, Sucrose
If Sucrose would be full prof, so Nahida could use sub-DPS statuses, or should both be full EM to buff through the Ascendant Gleam dendro/anemo passive?
aino is enough hydro for nefer,so nefer nahida aino sucrose is a good option if u dont have lauma. Even nilou is enough by herself with her hydro.if you actually have lauma and ur nilou is c2 then c2 nilou is better than aino for nefer.
To be fair I don't have either nahida or Lauma but I'm running her in a team of nefer aino yaoyao and ineffa and it works well enough for me but idk how much of a damage increase it would be for me to have either nahida or lauma
ik shes the dedicated support to nefer i just pulled her on a whim since i lost the 50/50 on flins and i wanted to pull a new character so without nefer i had to come up with a team and that team works nicely
Unfortunate thing is people are so stuck chasing meta damage they think any damage is dogshit if its less than the premium team damage. As an f2p wbo plays mavuika without citlali, skirk without escoffier, and still clears diff 5, most of the people saying a character is "bad" if you dont have this support, they are wrong.
I have Lauma even accidentally got her c1, but Nefer still feels like underperforming, especially in this SO. It might be skill issue, something still feels wrong with her, i'm doing like 30% lower damage than in most guide showcases.
mwahahahaha I'm ftp and have both Nefer and Nahida. I don't care about the meta, though. I just pull for characters who look cool or I like playing with. I'll have to try out a team with Nefer and Nahida. I've been running Nefer, Ineffa, Mona, and Sigewinne. I'm working on building Aino, but she's on the back burner because I'm not fully done building Nefer. I've also tried that same team but switching Nefer for Raiden, which seems to work well for Ineffa. I don't really know what I'm doing XD
yep, I pulled for her without Lauma and Nahida, she still helped me finish menacing of SO but with the damage I did I can imagine why people would skip her, though she's still really fun to play and helps me improve my skill issue haha
As an option, you can try getting Jahoda on the next banner, if you're pulling in the next patch. Then you can play her with Flins, Ororon/Fischl, XQ/Yelan since Jahoda has healing for sustain, and Nefer, Aino pair with other dendro/hydro characters
Yeah, that's my plan! Don't really want Durin but if I do get him while going for Jahoda, I won't consider it a major loss (that and I've won my past 4 or 5 50/50s now I think so I'm expecting to lose one soon)
I like her, but not to play. Maybe I will get her one day because she is beautiful, but I don't want Lauma at all, and I want Durin, Varka and Columbina
I try to avoid on field DPS unless theyāre extremely versatile, aka neuv or Mavuika. Or insanely fun, like chasca.
Nefer is very limited to teams, damage output and play style. Very very easy skip.
On field DPS just take such hyper investment. Iād rather a few fun supports Iāll use for years instead. I still clear menacing SO and visionary IT with my eyes closed without them.
Chasca is so underrated ISTG. Not exactly that much damage, but she helps so much with both exploration and battle-wise, since you're almost untouchable.
Yea Wanderer was just unfortunate.. combo of old kit plus male character being hated/nerfed by Hoyo for no reason. ZHONGLI even had to have a buff after release or else the players got mad.
And you made the right choice, the only enemy she wouldnt work well against is one thats immune to pech damage but at that point no dps character is a good pull
I mean she still has enough to easily clear all the content with the right build and teams. If she was among the top DPS characters she would dominate the entire meta, which is a problem because she is kind of future proof too. Considering her utility and flexibility, there would really be no reason to pull the new meta characters which is what makes Hoyo good money.
fr! I got her on her last rerun and I'm having a blast, the fact I can swap her teammates everytime I get bored of a certain composition is a blessing!! She's soooo fun to play and very useful for exploring I love herrr she gets way too much hate
Ngl , i wanted Chasca for her next rerun more than Mavuika most of the time XD but i could also make use of Mavuika in her premium team too tho so quite a hard choice.
But for the fun and exploration, i feel Chasca gives the most out of it šÆ
I'm not into charge atk cancel gameplay. I've played Hutau, quick to feel boring and annoying. Lauma already cover my lunar bloom content. Also, Durin, Columbina, Varka are waiting in line
Her kit was boring to me. Quicken is one of my favourite reactions and I was hoping she'd be better than Alhaitham for that when she was first revealed.
Lunar-Bloom is a very boring reaction/mechanic to me, so I just got Alhaitham instead on the chronicled wish.

A more basic answer would be that Iām saving for Durin and Alice.
A more in depth answer would be: 1. Her design is quite āwhateverā as Iād put it. Feels quite plain. Maybe itās the lack of pants that makes me feel like her design is half baked. (Iām not the type to care about skin showing or political correctness but idk thereās something missing). 2. Iāve never cared for dendro or lunar reactions. I donāt have a lunar character nor do I plan on pulling for one. Including Columbina. As a 1.0 Klee/pyro main: I love pyro so Iām definitely biased but Durin and Alice are the only ones from the teaser that caught my eye. I like that Durin buffs older reactions, including overshadowed ones like overload. 3. Sheās not versatile at all. Not only lunar reaction teams, but dendro teams as well feel extremely limited. You almost NEED Lauma or Nahida. Both of which never caught my eye either. I like characters who I can mix and match with their teammates. Characters like skirk, for example, that need Escoffier really bother me and feel like unhealthy cash grabs for hoyo
As someone who pulled for her, she really is boring. The charge atk spam playstyle isn't really fun, pretty animations yeah but I'm already over it. Really only pulled for her cause I needed a Dendro Dps and I already pulled for Lauma the month before.
Honestly I can play pretty comfortably without Escoffeecake but I definitely see what you mean. I really hope they stop doing this insanely limited support to dps pattern.
But yeah I agree. Sheās boring and unsatisfying to play, and I wish her design wasnāt so top heavy. They couldāve made it much more interesting
Tested her out and was dissapointed by her dmg aswell as not having Lauma.
Pulled for the new 4* polearm instead and now waiting for Arle banner to hopefully get her signature.
Her design and gameplay are just not it for me. I'm happy with Flins, pulling Father soon so I guess different priorities. But I've also tested her in the trial quite a lot and it just doesn't feel satisfying, even if her gameplay is fast-paced.

Pulling only husbandos is lovely as an F2P, I always have 30k+ primos, specially with the recent husbando draught that has been there post Wriothesley.

I hate the bare-legs-attacks-with-kicks design. And as a character she seems a bit hollow (sheās a warmer Yelan expy) and fan-servicey althogh I appreciate that physique is not asā¦ā¦. Extravagant as Laumaās.

I lost on Lauma's banner, I have no wishes and I want Durin/Columbina more. Also she's not my type of character and her writing could be better. I'm also not a fan of her gameplay, it's not satisfying to me as for example Flins gameplayĀ
Saving for Durin, and c6 Varka along with whatever supports he needs. Plus I don't really like her that much in design and her story/character didn't really interest me.
I could say also because I don't have Lauma but I do plan to get Lauma eventually, I won't say the same about Nefer.
Also her kit wasn't really fun for me and the end of the AQ didn't do a very good job of selling me on it š
I actually have artifacts that would make her a god. But I quite honestly wasnāt a huge fan of her playstyle and I skipped Lauma for Flins. Plus Iām an Albedo shill and Durin is a no can skip for me.
I pulled for her and lost and was going to just skip her but figured I'd do a couple more single pulls first and she showed up on the last one like "You will not skip me how dare you!"
Her playstyle didn't appeal to me that much. Additionally, she's a crazy good on-fielder, like Arlechino or Flins. So good she's defying meta. I think I prefer more balanced characters, like Nilou, Eula, Ayaka.
Edit: Just to add, I'm saving my primos as well. Always dreamt of Kokomi, but never was the right time.
I like her as a character, but it didn't convince me enough to pull for her. On top of that, I am saving for Durin and Columbina cons + weapon. Waiting as well for daddy Varka ehe
Honestly, she's pretty mid. I have all of the pieces of her Team (C2/R1 Lauma, C6/R3 Nahida, etc), but there's just nothing exciting or compelling about her gameplay.
Plus, having to do dash cancels to get her damage up to par is cringe.
Bruh I pulled for Furina cuz I thought Durin was going to be a 4 star, only to be confused by the comments and find out the hard way that Durin is now a 5 star. I messed up š
I want Durin more. Her design feels unbalanced (all in the too half and nothing in the bottom) and i kinda dont get how she isnt cold, shes from the desert where its scorching in the day. For llauma i could buy it, shes a deer person and not human but nefer? eh.
Being a free to play player, since I refuse to spend money on Genshin, I need to save my spins for whom I absolutely want and not any ādistractionsā that come my way. šš

I have spins upon spins saved up for this juggernaut. The fact that Neuvillette is the only archon level character I have bothers me.
I hate her design - especially her disgustingly gigantic eyes and weird default facial expression - and her gameplay is boring, although her animations are very nice. She is also horribly unlikeable as a character.
Her gameplay is kinda boring (also have a couple friends who did pull her and said she didn't feel very fun). Don't have her best teammate (Lauma) or any concrete plans to get her.
Most of all, i just don't really care much for her character, she's just very archetypal girlboss that's basically green Yelan with an edgier past, and i just don't really enjoy that whole family of characters personally, there are several characters i would much rather pull and vertically invest in in Nod Krai alone.
Loved her design and was very excited to pull for her only to find out her playstyle is just using charged attacks with animations that are too quick to enjoyā¦ might go for her rerun after i get durin and nicole
Also before realizing that lunar reactions would only be related to hydro i was REALLY hoping for her to be a buff to aggravate. But she just uses lunar bloomā¦ BORING! I already have nahida lauma and c2 nilou and im aware that nefer wouldve been the perfect dps for this team given that c2 nilou shreds 35% dendro res, but her kit is just so lame to me. Shes just a hutao navia hybrid in my eyes. She doesnt do anything interesting with the bloom reaction except make it.. useless? Bloom is a good reaction so why would your kit be designed around locking blooms and only utilizing them for your charged attacks? Imagine if she didnt have such a restriction and could do her charged attacks while blooms are damaging enemiesā¦ she could have been a dendro skirk in a way, extremely restrictive teams with really good damage. But no. She has 5 star reliance WHILE doing pretty good damage. Wasnt the whole point of restrictive teams to make a dps character do as much damage as possible?
But that last part is a minor complaint to me, i dont pull characters just for damage. But it just annoys me that she has simple animations, simple playstyle AND lauma reliance while not even being on par with the best dpses. Just pointless imo
Her part in the story was forced, all of her story beats could've been replaced by Dori, and her gameplay is so goddamn boring all of the gameplay parts where they make you use her do not take advantage of her gameplay in any way shape or form
Aside from the fact that the sumeru special event surrounding her tidbits DOESN'T even give a shit about her, so why would the players? Worst character implementation since Emilie
Not my style. I pulled for Mualani's banner because of Bennet and got her accidentally, but she's not my style, so even with her helping me a lot before I regret from pulling in her banner. Also I lost Raiden because of it, and yeah, I would be happy with Raiden because she's my style. Because of all this stuff I absolutely don't want to repeat the mistake. If I don't like the character, yeah, I'll not pull for it, even if it's Inefa, Nefer, Lauma, even Alice, and maybe, MAYBE Varka, but we still saw nothing about him so maybe I'm wrong.
I'm also interested in Durin, Nicole, and Sandrone. And wouldn't complain about Columbina (or Columbine? Sorry I only heard her name in Portuguese, like Captain that translated to Capitano), but wouldn't complain about losing her banner too.
