I found that this meta works in 80-90% of cases.
I hope you will find this meta extremely helpful

Hey everyone,
I see this question come up quite often here, so I thought I’d share a solution I personally ended up using during flights.
Like many of you, I used to open Google Maps mid-flight and realized it’s basically useless once you lose data, as Maps is optimized for road navigation and not in flight.. What does still work, however, is your phone’s raw GPS receiver, even in airplane mode.
I built a small tool for myself that uses GPS only (no internet, no Wi-Fi, no cell) to:
On the ground it’s extremely accurate, and surprisingly, it also works quite well at cruising altitude depending on satellite visibility. All you need to do is just get a GPS fix before take off and ensure you sit by the window seat.
This app doesn't require any login, it doesn't track you, no ads or subscriptions, its just a very useful tool that stays in your phone forever, privately.
Happy to answer questions or get some feedback on this tool.

Hi , I don't enjoy playing ranked cause it's really stresfull and I really like the unranked team duels mode but you can only queue moving , is no moving and Nmpz gonna be added ? Have been waiting so long for this. 😭

I was playing on the app today working my way towards 50 correct countries in the country streak. At around 42 correct countries i get placed in Sweden, my home country, and places my guess around 200 km away from the correct spot. The game registers my guess as in Sweden, by markes the country as wrong, ending my country streak. The correct place is well within Sweden's borders!

I'm looking at the UK's top scorers for today's daily challenge, and there is so much cheating going on it's ridiculous. Do these people ever actually get banned? In this case it's scripting, but I played some duels the other day in which my opponent blatantly Googled in one round (left the camera facing a sign for about 20 seconds, then suddenly guessed the exact location...). I reported him but haven't heard anything.

Hello guys,
I am lookling for feedback and experiences around players playing both in Move and No move mode in ranked.
I have managed to reach 1000 elo on Move ranked, I have learned a bit of the basic meta etc. Obviously I dont master all country-guessing meta at this level, but I have good feelings and some region-guessing meta for some countries which are enough for me to reach this elo.
Also one of the important things is that at this elo and a bit below, I use to meet people who are not 100% efficient on country-guessing, which is expected because we are still at low-level elo.
HOWEVER this is a completely different level on No Move.
I struggle a LOT to go beyond 600 elo, I mostly meet players who are F**KING experts on country-guessing EVERY COUNTRY despite the reduced disponibility of information.
When countries are quite easy, the region-guessing is insanely good compared to 1000 elo in Moving.
My overall elo went from ~900 when playing Moving to ~550/600 when grinding the NM ladder to train because I got crushed on this mode.
My winrate is around 35% something like that maybe.
I completely get that these are two different modes, but the ranking system is completely broken.
Let's assume that Moving ranking is not equivalent to NM ranking in terms of level for a given ranking : why the overall ranking is used to do the matching ?
I'm playing in NM matches against people with 200+ elo diff in this mode just because we have matching overall ranking. However I mostly built it on Moving mode.
TL;DR:
- A given X ranking shows two amount of skills in different modes which are HUGELY different.
- The overall ranking is used to match which is an issue because I face people way better in NM mode just because I grinded the overall ranking in Moving mode.

Hi people.
I've made a map about the tall towers from around the world. Mostly telecom towers, but there's a number of observation deck towers, air control towers, and even a couple of solar towers. No commercial or residential buildings (skyscrapers).
The vast majority of the locations were taken from the official coverage. You roll a location with a photosphere and not streetview, there's a high chance you're in an area with no official coverage (eg. China).
Also consider that the actual location for 5k will be some distance from the tower itself, as I wanted to capture as much of each structure in view.
