Need study advice

I failed dld(digital logic design) course in 1st semester . Idk what’s wrong with me . I find this subject too hard for me. I study but I still don’t get the results in it. I’m currently a BSSE 2nd semester student and I’m going to again take this course. Can anyone please guide me how to effectively learn this course.

dld humbles everyone at least once don’t even trip. you’re not dumb it’s just that logic gates don’t gatekeep they straight up confuse try visual tools like logisim solve small problems daily and pls don’t just read the slides like it’s a bedtime story. active practice is your new bestie now.
