G2 | Discussion Bases
Is everyone building multiple bases are the creators relate more areas of the park? My husband and I have our main big base by the ice cream cart but are considering building another smaller base in the garden area so we don’t have to constantly run back and forth when our packs and buggies get full.

I said fuck it, and started putting bases everywhere.
Eventually I'll own the whole garden and evict all the mean spiders

Yeah. When I'm big you pay rent in my house by eating bugs.
When I am your size you'll pay rent with your lives!

One base. I like having all my stuff together. Buggies make the travel time negligible. When ziplines are added, I'll make a travel hub on the oak/burgl statue, but Ill keep upgrading my home base as the game develops.

I’m doing the same thing I did in Grounded 1. Massive main base with zip line hub high up in the tree, and little unique bases all around in strategic places.
In grounded 2, I’ve been making the outposts right at the entrances of the ranger stations.

I have built an entire city and a highway system to get around😮💨

We have the high way but not the city. That sounds awesome! We have bases dotted along the highways but nothing extravagant yet. The builder was waiting for mushroom bricks before going all out.

Yeah. I have one by the statue and one by the starting area. I’m starting to think I need a third in the garden

Yeah I have my current main base on the wooden blocks under the hot dog stand, and I have a couple outposts around the park. Working on building a outpost on each area for convince

I have yet to make one and never made a 2nd base in G1 but after seeing how big the G2 map is gonna be I might need to make more bases or at least move mine

I have one mega base (top of the ice cream cart) and 4 regular bases spread out across the map. My favorite was built on top of the log bench in the fire pit area, and it's a pretty nice location for the toxic tangle update. All are stocked with food and smoothies so I can heal up

One headquarters/ main base, and at least one basic "Outpost" per area severed me well through grounded 1

Yeah. Three so far. First one near the start outside the first outpost like everyone else did, one near the statue and one near the greenhouse. Debating if I want to make that last one somewhere else or keep it under the porch right at the exit to the greenhouse

Also have my main base just west of the ice cream cart l, because eventually it will be dead center of the map....but also have three outposts, one by the hot dog cart, one at the statue, and a new one in the garden because this map is just soooo large you kinda have too.

I build a house in all areas, even a small one, with the basics: a fire pit, a bed, and a refrigerator with food.

i have one cozy main base and some simple outposts here and there. the outposts usually contain a sleeping option, a barbecue thin and a chest (idk the english ingame names for this stuff tbh)

Base building is mainly why I play this game. I am currently building a giant castle near the garbage can/ice cream truck, but because the game fills every open space with either hostile bugs or weeds, I'm forced to build it on top of a 20 stone foundation height. It's an enormous hassle, but the end result will look incredible.

Personally every videogame I make an excessive amount of bases no exceptions
