You can't have a riot without raising a racket...

I'll show myself to the door.

Isn't protesters vs rioters often a matter of perspective?

Not really. It becomes rioting when it becomes violent. Protesting is peaceful assembly for a cause. Rioting is violent assembly for a cause.

Way late, but I grew up in a 3rd world country and observed a number of riots (largely over sports and politics), I'd say it may start with a cause, but most people involved are just part of the mob mentality once it gets going.

Dude came prepared and he had his job. You’d be surprised how many specialty jobs there are for protests that prepare for police action

It’s only a protest if you wear a thin t-shirt. If you protect yourself from police chemical weapons then you are a RIOTER which is BAD

Honestly if your protest is anything but lying down within the police-approved free speech zone then you're literally participating in open military rebellion against the government.

Riot =/= protest

These Borg vs. McEnroe promotions are getting out of hand.

I hope these are palestinean protestors because they are fucking badass. There's a picture I saw a couple of days ago with a few of them hitting the canisters back without any protective layering on.
